14-Aug was the highest volume of this week with price hit 2 months high @0.265, need time to consolidate. Good to see volume going down but still stay above 20d MA with a T today :D

Technically, upward trend still intact. Last round uptrend lasted 5 months from 0.205 to 0.285 (>30%). If this round uptrend can last long, probably need to hold for many weeks... :p

basically the content is about interview between the busy weekly with bioalpha director william hon

william hon is aiming to have largest pharmacy chain in malaysia , on par compare with guardian , watson , caring
aiming to have 30 branch this year
in next 3 year , aiming to have 100 branches

William say , although he know the pharmacy chain is very competitive , but the acquaintance of constant is necessary to promote their health brand
and they are different from guardian / watson , as they have own brand and own supply , hence will have higher margin compare to those

william mention soon we will heard about news of merger and acquaintance of pharmacy to accelerate the growth of constant pharmacy

recently they just have right issue and ask for 20 million of money
half of it , 10 million will use in plantation

this is important because the source of traditional medication if very hard to get in malaysia , mostly from small farmer

they want to ensure the supply is good , free from pollution as they planted themself , and once all the plant mature , they can supply their own traditional plant and even export it

for e-constant , they aiming to have 10 thousand member by end year
this 10 thousand of member will bring revenue to new high and will make financial year 2018 revenue to be double

currently already thousands of e-constant member registered
peak of registration for now is 100++ per week

from q1 onward , their indonesia plant is fully operated
in the indonesia plant there is large empty plot beside the indonesia factory , they will ready to expand the indonesia factory by next year
by next year q2-q3 they will need to expand the indonesia factory because demand from indonesia is huge , and current factory will not enough to supply the demand
and also indonesia plant help in shorten the product registration time to only 3 months

for china , they also got alot of order from muslim population there
order from china is constant
estimate around 50million of muslim population from china


William mention , alot of fund manager had requested bioalpha to be transfer to main board as they cant buy bioalpha due to regulation and relatively small cap company
william say they actually qualified for main board and even submitted the form to bursa
however at the end they found out the cost of transfer is 1 million , which is alot in view of last year profit is only 8million ++

they would like to wait for annual report 2017 to be audited and then only submit the transfer request again

currently there is around 10 institutional fund having bioalpha share
this had trigger the busy weekly to follow up and interview this company
as bioalpha is small cap and ace market , very unusual for small cap ace market to have so many insitutional fund

and also bioalpha have 3 goverment group back up ( khazanah 10% , PNS 10% , MTDC 10% )
which make thing alot easy ( registration , platation farm )

william say during ipo they propose to distribute 30% of profit to shareholder , however due to large share pool , many shareholder complaint the dividen is too little hence they have bonus issue on 2016




in future , they will work hard and will find way to reward shareholder , for both win win situation

保健品生產業務方面，科鼎已盯緊印尼和中國市場，而且這2個國家也確實如韓丁國所計劃般，開始帶來數十個百分點的高速成長率。今年首季，印尼的首間廠房已正式啟用，將讓該公司如虎添翼，在印尼加速成長。
至于零售業務，科鼎目前擁有17間「Constant」連鎖藥房，今年杪將增至30間分店。
韓丁國訂下目標，要在3年內，成為國內其中一個最大的藥劑行業者，與康寧藥劑（ CARING， 5245，主板貿服股）、屈臣氏（ Watsons）、佳寧（ Guardian）等市面上的藥劑行巨頭並駕齊驅。
為了達到快速成長的目標，不僅講求瞄準正確市場及完善供應鏈的策略，韓丁國表示，併購也是必要的手段。他披露，科鼎在生產業務和零售業務方面，都正在洽談併購事宜。
他表示，「我們可能很快就會宣布新的併購案。」科鼎在2015年以每股20仙的首次公開售股（ IPO）價格上市後，成為馬股少有的保健品股項，也一直是《資匯》密切關注的公司。
《資匯》曾在第393期（去年9月5日）和第414期（今年2月6日）報導該公司。
此前，只有安利控股（ AMWAY， 6351，主板貿服股）和海鷗企業（ HAIO， 7668，主板貿服股）等公司，業務較多涉足保健品，但它們焦點集中在以直銷的方式銷售保健品，而不是生產保健品，此外它們的直銷產品也包括其它許多產品，如日常用品。今回，韓丁國接受《資匯》近2個小時的面對面專訪，並且也帶領記者參觀位於雪州萬宜的總部。
在參觀過程中，韓丁國主要向記者介紹科鼎供研發用途的實驗室設備，以及產品的發酵與生產設備。
研發和生產活動是一般保健品和藥劑業者必不可少的2個環節，但科鼎卻打造了一條龍供應鏈，含蓋本身的草藥種植農場和藥房，比其它業者更為完善。

事實上，韓丁國認為首季虧損的科鼎，接下來3季將扭轉局勢的信心，主要就是進軍印尼和中國的努力，開始看到成效。
至于中國，科鼎希望憑著大馬相當權威、廣受全球認可的清真（ Halal）認證，打開該國的穆斯林市場。目前，該國官方統計的穆斯林人數達約2000萬人，但民間估計的實際人數，可能達5000萬甚至上億。
抓緊清真認證利基優勢
韓丁國表示，中國13億人口的保健品市場雖然龐大，但競爭也相當激烈，當地業者佔盡量產和知名度優勢，因此該公司必須緊抓清真認證的利基優勢，專攻穆斯林市場。目前，該公司已經收到來自陜西、新疆、雲南、內蒙古等穆斯林集中居住省分的不少訂單，意味其努力開始收效
