It won't be like AAX...that losing biz, Ptrans making money.....I have to agreed with hansolo.....Perak does not offer good growths potential. We buy stock because its future potential.....not so much their current performance. But don't write them off.....the operator terror......except if.... Elvis has left the building!

Agree. 30 years when no North South highway people use to go to Perak towns for stop over like Ipoh, Kampar, Bidor, KK, Taiping when travel from north and vice versa. Now no need because highway mean can reach KL same day so petrol station and hotel business are affected. As for UTAR now more states have their own universities so less to join UTAR so bus business will be affected.

Whenever I see any MyBas from Perak Transit, it often carry few passengers only, regardless morning, noon, evening or night...

Group’s revenue are mainly derived from:
(a) Integrated public transportation terminal operations;
i. Rental of advertising and promotional (“A&P”) spaces;
ii. Rental of shops and kiosks
iii. Project facilitation fee; and
iv. Others such as bus and taxi entrance fee and fee imposed for the usage of the basement car park and lavatory.

(b) Providing public stage bus and express bus services and bus charter services; and

(c) Petrol stations operations and the management of ADO incentive programme.

From my observation, cost of bus services such as driver wage, fuels, and maintenance are very high, if passengers not much, definitely is making loss...

If u look at the quarter result, u can find out that most of the revenues are come from

(a) Integrated public transportation terminal operations
&
(c) Petrol stations operations and the management of ADO incentive programme

I'm not saying this company not good or not making money, just the bus services profit margin very low...

not sure why i3 removes my post above.. not so independent after all.. anyway do u know that the government subsidizes perak transit by the km serviced?? the bus still jalan even there is no passenger. how do u think there are still so many bus operators in small town? do you think without government help they can survive

Based on your negative points, you shouldnt buy even it drop below the IPO price.. Why suddenly you say you like to buy below IPO price after you have doubt with it before.. If it drop below IPO price I believe this stock will in stagnant mode for long long time.. Unless someone want to goreng this stock..
