In Malaysia, TA Securities Holdings Bhd wrote in a note today that US interest rate hike expectation could dictate Malaysian share-trade dynamics. "Extreme overbought technical momentum indicators on the FBM KLCI, highlighted by a daily stochastics sell signal, implies higher probability for a long overdue overbought correction this week. Moreover, given the sharp correction on Wall Street last Friday triggered by the stronger-than-expected January jobs data which increased worries over rising US interest rates and inflation risk, a profit-taking pullback should spill over from the region," TA said.

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 1): Nomura said Lotte Chemical Titan Holding Bhd's fourth quarter results were in line with forecast.

Nomura wrote in a note that its Lotte Chemical Titan share target price is RM6.50. "4Q in line," Nomura said.

On Tuesday (Jan 30), Lotte Chemical Titan said net profit rose to RM378.15 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2017 (4QFY17) from RM290.86 million while revenue fell to RM2.12 billion from RM2.15 billion.

For the full year, the company said net profit declined to RM1.06 billion from RM1.32 billion a year earlier while revenue was lower at RM7.82 billion compared to RM8.14 billion.

Lotte Chemical Titan also proposed a dividend of 23 sen a share.

"The company wishes to inform that the board of directors has resolved to recommend a final single tier dividend of 23 sen per share for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2017, subject to the approval of the company's shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting," it said.

i don't think tonight will be another panic selling at DJ, Bond so far is still bond..... Look at the share market in Malaysia, we are not like America stock market! Our fundamental still strong and steady, look at LCtitan, the price is still below IPO. Our share market is still cheap!!!! So buy guys, LCtitan is a big boat can withstand wave! Kmwong I m holding LCtitan for quite sometime n kept buying, my average is 4.97. Buying since it touch 4.5.....I been recommend to my friend this counter, even it touched 5.5 I consider it still low!! I know this colony and was working there. I know it from head down... U guys believe?? Buy guys u won't lose before 6.5 ...and it should be rm7 onward !
