Jaks QR ended December 2023 :

👉QR ended December 2023 is Loss ( RM 24.8 Million)

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the Construction division reported lower revenue of RM2.9 million, a reduction of 94% compared to the revenue of RM46.7 million in the same quarter of the previous year. This decline was primarily attributed to the lower revenue recognition from the local construction works that are in their 👉 final
stages of completion. With the lower revenue, this division incurred a higher 👉 loss before tax RM63.3 million in this fourth quarter compared to RM40.5 million loss
before tax incurred in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.


In the quarter under review, the Property Investment division recognised lower
revenue contribution of RM3.1 million, from RM4.0 million achieved in the previous

The big thing to ask is this:

Like the CEO of yinson say, my contracts are fixed returns from first oil(operational status) yinson is paid 700k usd a day. In total with interest the fpso cost 1.2 billion to build. Contract is 22 years, at the end of period yinson will earn 5.2 billion.. So if things are built well and completed well, yinson will earn back their spent cost in 5 years and after that is profit every day, as their charter is bareboat, operations and management is under the operator ( unless yinson sign o&m). Very clear cut rules, clear cut profitability, all that is left is to perform.

How did yinson command this 700k a day charter while customers like armada earn 435k a day? Simple. Timing and competition. In many cases yinson was the only bidder or best option with string financial status. That is why yinson is 8 billion, armada 2 billion and Jaks 300 million.
