lalongboy Chiayee the company is still planting, currently it has only 882 hectares mature (harvestable) out of 4,090 hectares according to the latest annual report. and they are still expanding and they are aiming for 50,000 hectare long term. i foresee in 1 to 2 more years they will start making profit.

LouiseS GOLDEN LAND's main business segments include oil palm plantations and property development.

Its earning performance has been overall fluctuating in last five years, whereby its earning per share overall fluctuated from -10.66 sen to -33.73sen. In 2016, the Group disposed 9,812 hectares of its oil palm plantation in Sabah, and refocused on developing greenfeld oil palm plantations in Indonesia. Currently its plantations in Indonesia are mostly at the immature stage, hence not generating significant profits for the Group.

Dehcomic01 The company has both plantation and property development activities. If you compare its performance with that of the Bursa Planation sector, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KhboTCMdEg) you will find that Golden Land ROE for the past decade was much lower than that of my reference company – KLK.
Secondly, the Malaysian property sector is not exactly booming currently.
