Business Background Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd operates and manages airports primarily in Southeast Asia. Its airports can serve international, domestic, and regional flights. The company has two operating segments: airport operations and nonairport operations. Airport operations generate revenue from passenger service charges, landing and parking fees, and other ancillary charges to airlines. Additionally, it provides leases and collects charges from commercial operations in its airports. Nonairport operations create additional revenue by providing repair and maintenance, hotel accommodations, and, to a lesser extent, agriculture and horticulture. The repair and maintenance activities include consultancy, mechanical, and civil engineering.

No logic unless possible revocation as many suggest taken over by Israel linked Company. 16/05/2024 1:15 PM hw0706 Gateway Development Alliance and its shareholders (together the “Consortium”), have today announced a pre-conditional voluntary offer to acquire all the shares in Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (“MAHB“) not already owned by the Consortium, at an Offer price of RM11.00 per share (the “Offer”). 16/05/2024 2:08 PM ValueInvestor888 Opportunity to profit as offer price of RM 11. Risk : cancellation due to PN protest. They are better remained in Kelantan and Terengganu. But how come they don't protest facebook etc as they are owned by Jews... 16/05/2024 2:56 PM MULTIEVER if our muslim friend boycott airport, how they gonna travel har? take ferry? 16/05/2024 3:40 PM raymondroy just got into airports..... not sure whats the issue, plan to take private at RM11 and yet price at RM10? Even if deal will be cancelled.... no reason for price to go down? 16/05/2024 4:33 PM facsc118 good price to buy actually. if the deal cancel, the airport still can run and give good return 16/05/2024 4:55 PM raymondroy taking a bit of a stretched outcome.... last qtr EPS of 16.41 if annualised is 65.64c, and at current price of RM10.... thats PER of 15x which is reasonable 16/05/2024 5:02 PM AlfI3 Really contradict w d indicated prc to privatize at rm11. Unreasonably low....! 17/05/2024 2:51 AM ValueInvestor888 likely the deal RM 11 can go thru as MOT denied selling stakes. They privatized to restructure... 17/05/2024 3:01 PM raymondroy surprising that MOT has already given opinion, but khazanah and EFF is quiet on the exercise? Even if Khazanah and EPF wants to up their stake to 40 and 30% they can easily do it in the market.... why bring in foreigners to do this? puzzling.... Also if want to restructure and increase capital spending, best is to be listed where bank financing will be easily obtainable..... this privatisation move will only exclude the public from MAHB which I believe is not substantiated.... peace 17/05/2024 3:57 PM ValueInvestor888 financing will never be problem as EPF and Khazanah are cash rich and state owned... 17/05/2024 4:00 PM Cipta Turkish citizens rarely question why one of their airports is managed by a Malaysian sovereign fund, whereas some Malaysians frequently question why such assets are sold to foreigners in the global business arena. They seem to think: if it's not owned by us, then it must be owned by our adversaries. 17/05/2024 5:47 PM speakup mesti baca ni: https://themalaysianreserve.com/2024/05/18/et-tu-khazanah/ 18/05/2024 9:01 AM speakup good read: https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2024/05/17/groups-urge-govt-to-reconsider-blackrocks-involvement-in-mahb/ 18/05/2024 9:14 AM OnTime jews r involved (and controlled) all kind of businesses world wide (just ask the usa). so just embrace and enjoy the ride. 18/05/2024 9:29 AM jeffchan1901 I am just here for the money and entertainment. Yes I am happy that they offer at rm11 as I always consider selling at rm11 and yes I am happy that some of us here also triggered on politics as well. GG Malaysia 18/05/2024 10:27 AM GSX1111 Must use buisiness sense in this economy world. There can make money, there shoud go. But must legal. This is realistic society, not Wonderland. 18/05/2024 5:58 PM NatsukoMishima What if share price keeps dropping to 5- 6 and the deal fail at last ??? Can it happen ?? 18/05/2024 7:00 PM wang336604 What do I need to do to comment on other people's comments? I hope someone can tell me. 18/05/2024 8:53 PM NatsukoMishima Actually a few failed privatisation deal happened in the few years back , not 100 % will success , sell or hold in your luck or own risks ! 19/05/2024 7:54 AM KiasiPu Natsuko, no risk no gain. If fail privatization, MAHB was still a profitable company. 20/05/2024 11:26 AM YouWin IsreaI and US....They kill Iran president, now Malaysia still wanna keep doing the wrong thing? Collab with killer fund 20/05/2024 11:53 AM raymondroy at this juncture, i believe no way this privatisation can go thru with GIP as a party to the agreement, better for just khazanah and EPF to go alone as 2 parties and take MAHB private.... if they want after that they can sell 30% to whomever they want, but its sour taste already, let this be a lesson for khazanah and epf, next time share your strategy and vision before buta2 make offer and check your bed-fellows first, especially on so called national assets.... :-) peace 20/05/2024 1:03 PM Cipta Please do not sell the airport to GIP, and also consider prohibiting Boeing from landing at KLIA as well, is that possible? 20/05/2024 2:26 PM yilonma watermelon lovers can keep spreading their false narrative about genocide while supporting sexual assault and rape of innocent children and women. i hope this deal goes through, so they can boycott the airports and rot in their hometowns 20/05/2024 4:54 PM raymondroy price shd hover around 10 no need to drop as business is booming and fundamentals intact, in fast as compared to Bangkok airport ..... super undervalued. Last qtr EPS of 16.41 if annualised is 65.64c, and at current price of RM10.... thats PER of 15x which is reasonable if not low.... and revenue will only pick up more here on..... happy hunting :-) peace 20/05/2024 8:26 PM YouWin Cancel the deal now,if wanna privatize, EPF and khazana is more than capable of doing it without black rock. 21/05/2024 12:02 PM Cipta ultimately MARA, KWAP or LTAT can take up GIP portion. However due to mismanagement and corruption by the previous local elite, Khazanah hv to find other funds now. 21/05/2024 2:28 PM AnthonyAng666 Do they really want to privatize AIRPORT? Share price doesn't go up above RM12... 21/05/2024 7:42 PM Cipta bcoz there are many call warrants. How could small holders win money from the IB ? Call warrants is a gamble, why it is HALAL in Malaysia? 23/05/2024 9:47 AM yilonma bought in another 100k @ 10.00. people who let religion dictate how they make money will never be rich, just like 50% of the people in the comments. you can tell who uses their brain 23/05/2024 1:11 PM GSX1111 Need to liquidate asset, only have enough fund to give those need help eg B40 24/05/2024 8:28 AM AnthonyAng666 @Cipta. Good point. But can't stop traders from spotting the opportunity and buying & goreng the call warrants 😁 24/05/2024 6:57 PM | |
