Sunway City Berhad is engaged in property development and investment, and investment holding. Through its subsidiaries, the Company operates in five segments: property development, which is engaged in the development of residential and commercial properties; property investment, which is engaged in the management and operation of shopping malls and letting of properties; leisure, which includes the operation of theme parks, rendering recreational club facilities, travel agent and time sharing businesses; hospitality, which is engaged in the management and operations of hotels, and healthcare, which is engaged in the management and operation of a medical center. In April 2009, the Company disposed off its 70% equity interest in TAH Properties Sdn. Bhd. On April 29, 2009, it acquired ABS Real Estate Berhad. In June 2009, the Company acquired Mega Methods Sdn Bhd. In September 2009, the Company acquired Rich Worldclass Sdn. Bhd.
