Reason CLP Power International Limited has entered into an Agreement For The Sale and Purchase of Shares in YTL Power International Limited ("Agreement") dated 22 September 1999 with YTL Corporation Berhad for the acquisition of the Shares. CLP Power Projects (Malaysia) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of CLP Power International Limited. Pursuant to Clause 4.3 of the Agreement, CLP Power International Limited has requested YTL Corporation Berhad to transfer the Shares to CLP Power Projects (Malaysia) Limited via a Direct Business Transaction executed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 17 November 1999.
