[First, listen to
Wake Me Up When September Ends. It's a soothing song.]

Sep 2021 was no different. It was like the many turbulent months of 2021 for investors.

Fears of China Evergrande's huge debt, concerns on the Federal Reserve's stand on bond buying, preparation for "October effect", etc. have unsettled Mr. Market. Initial fears of Evergrande & the Fed looks to have subsided, for now.

Mr. Market obviously didn't like the quarter results of TOPGLOV and COMFORT recently. Glove share prices continued to feel the brunt of gravity amidst fears of windfall tax.(such tax is unlikely, IMO) My reading of Mr. Market's mind was wrong last week as glove share price did not move sideways. But at the very least, I don't have to be held accountable to any paid subscribers.

Tech remains the flavour of the month, but we have no idea when would Mr. Market changes its taste. AIRASIA took flight, despite other recovery stocks' staying flat.

Oct 2021 would focus on global markets as usual. Budget 2022 would grab the spotlight as well.

As the economy reopens, recovery stocks will be on investors' radar. Hopefully, this will spur the bulls of Bursa. For much of 2021, the US markets are like trailblazing bulls, leaving Bursa bulls biting the dust. Nevertheless, I trust the idling Bursa bulls to start charging towards the finishing line of 2021 strongly, barring any new black swan events. KLCI ending year 2021 by closing above 1600 should be achievable, although not immediately.

CONCLUSION:

Come what may, you might want to hear Coldeye's advice first. https://klse.i3investor.com/servlets/forum/600595541.jsp (Pardon the literal translation that I made. Someone please refine it for the benefit of others.)

The stockmarket works in cycles. It can be long and short. Like the month of September coming to an end, the carnage of glove stocks should find its end.
