Happy New Year folks!
The new year always brings renewed vigour & hope.

The most difficult year of investing in KLSE in 4 years, 2022, is finally over.

I've glance through at the results of Stockpicks 2019 until 2022 on i3investor.

It's clear that the toughest year to invest was 2022.

Only 8 participants obtained positive returns in 2022, compared to every single 20 participants getting positive returns in years 2019, 2020 & 2021.

The statistics don't lie.

Even the highest return for 2022 was only 29.21%, compared to 95.08% in 2019, 173.86% in 2020, & 108.02% in 2021.

Once again, for those who survived a challenging 2022 & still have the courage to continue investing in stocks, I wish us a better and more rewarding 2023 & beyond.

Make no mistake, there is no crystal ball to say that 2023 will guaranteed to be a better year than 2022.

But every movement down, is a rebound in the making.

While we cannot change the past, which may be very unforgettable, perhaps we should "Let It Go".

"Let It Go" is also the name of a wonderful song from the animated film "Frozen", which was released 10 years ago.

IMO, both the song & movie are great. Do check them out if you haven't.
