PUTRAJAYA, May 15 — Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is currently meeting with Chief Justice Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif and former attorney-general Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail at the Perdana Foundation building.

The duo were seen to have arrived at the venue separately in a black Toyota Alphard and a black Proton Perdana, respectively at 2.42pm.

Citing health reasons, Abdul Gani called time on his tenure as AG in July 2015, and he was replaced by former Federal Court judge Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali.

There have been calls for Raus to step down as CJ due to allegations that his appointment had violated the Federal Constitution.

It is also understood that Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun arrived moments ago at 3.40pm for a meeting with Dr Mahathir.
