Fundamental-volume trader. I use both top-down and bottom-up approach in stock selection. Mainly on US Market, while having some exposure to Bursa Malaysia.

Inasmuch as I love the art of trading (and the money that comes with it), I believe sharing I know will perhaps smoothen the learning curve of others who just started out like me many years ago.

Core trading principle: Risk management and trading psychology come first, then world view and sectoral analysis.
Socks Stocks
You buy them when they are on sale Market crash! SELL!!!
You buy them when you need them You buy them when people want them
You throw them away as soon as it develops a hole You only sell them when it goes higher than your initial purchase price
Buy with cash Buy with loan
Warm your feet Often get your underpant on fire

Sekian, happy Sunday =)

hehe, glad i3 sifu like it. Found it in the book 'Your money and your brain' by Jason Zweig. This analogy is used before, but is my first time when I first came across it.
