Not that I am bragging, but it seems that my articles have started to gain tractions as :
BACKGROUND STORY
Symlife was the developer of a number of projects in Puchong including The Elevia Residence, Summer Homes, The Wharf Residence and The Wharf Mall, all within the populated Taman Tasik Prima Puchong area. As part of the Selangor State authority's requirement, Symlife is required to also provide affordable housing under Rumah Selangorku (RSKU) program as part of the conditions to the development of The Wharf Mall.
As most RSKU projects are low-margin products, unless you have your own construction arm to manage cost and time, most developers tend to parcel out their RSKU obligation to others. Such was the basis that Prima Nova Harta Development Sdn. Bhd. (Symlife's wholly-owned subsidiary) entered into the agreement with Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. in that under the terms of the said agreement, Prima Nova Harta Development Sdn. Bhd. is required to transfer its ownership of the land that is going to build RSKU to Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. for RM1.00. In exchange, Caturan Dinamik Sdn. Bhd. under Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. will build the RSKU for Prima Nova Harta Development Sdn. Bhd. for a bullet fee of RM4.4m after the project is completed. And Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. gets all the sale proceeds of all those RSKU units sold. This project is named as Pangsapuri Mutiara D'Angkasa.
In short, in order for Symlife to get out of the RSKU obligation imposed by the Selangor State authority, Prima Nova Harta Development Sdn. Bhd. needs to transfer its land to Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. for RM1.00. and pay to Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. the RM4.4m only after the RSKU units are delivered with Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) issued. (see Red box below)
Symlife has transferred the said land to Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. for RM1.00 after the Agreement was signed on 25 June 2020 (see Red circle above), in order for Caturan Dinamik Sdn. Bhd to start construction of the RSKU project.
Today 23 May 2022, I have personally made a trip to the proposed Pangsapuri Mutiara D'Angkasa project site with a Symlife senior management staff, all we found on the site was only the hoarding of the land with a few piling blocks lying on the ground!
SHOCKING !
Since the payment of RM4.4m was paid to Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. on 31 May 2021, nothing, I mean absolutely nothing has progressed on Pangsapuri Mutiara D'Angkasa project site.
Not only Symlife has lost this piece of land for RM1.00, but due to the unauthorised release of the RM4.4m by GCEO Chin Jit Pyng which ought to have been paid only after Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. has built and delivered the Pangsapuri Mutiara D'Angkasa project with Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) issued, it is now a double whammy on Symlife. All due to a greedy Chin Jit Pyng.
What else on earth can you explain if there is no personal interest involved for Chin Jit Pyng, will any other sober or prudent company CEO approves such a stupid or suicidal payment? I urge Bursa, SC and MACC to start looking into where the RM4.4m flow to after it was paid to Millennium Land Sdn. Bhd. on 31 May 2021.
The next Board Meeting of Symlife is slated on Wednesday 25 May 2022 where the Chairman of the Investigative Committee Mr. Lim Choo Hooi is scheduled to release his findings on GCEO Chin Jit Pyng. It will be interesting to see if the MBL-led board members will finally pull the curtain down on GCEO Chin Jit Pyng or they themselves are just another devilous souls willing to dwell with the monster of Symlife!
