You have proper certification for accountants, doctors, lawyers adn so forth! Why until today there's no proper certification for skilled workers which help impose higher salary!

What PM Anwar should pursue is certification of skills workers like mechanics, aircond installers and so forth!
With proper certification of mechanics, workshop can then justify minimum salary of 2k for them! Or certified aircond installers will be at ease to do their job!

Sarawak rumoured to open casino in Borneon Highland Resort! I say i am all for it!
But Sarawak need experience operator like Genting! You cannot set up casino without backing of highly experience operator! Just look at Singapore! They let Sands and Genting do the casino!
While i do not condone gambling, no matter how much i love queing to buy 4D, i believe we should allow legal operators to do so because it bring in tax revenue! You do not want illegal operators like current mushrooming online gambling to take place! Which eventually bribe our local lawmakers!
So if this casino in Sarawak materilized, then at least it will attract high value tourists to Sarawak! You may not like this fact but most gamblers are very well off! They can waste hundreds of thousand even millions in single seating!

Let's face it! Malaysia need to introduce EV as mainstream or else we will be left behind!
The cheapest EV available is not priced at 90K! Which is a good entry price for middleclass! Charging stations also saw nice ramp up of late!
However, it's up to the government to be more proactive! Norway is the first nation to fully embrace EVs despite been huge oil exporter!
For Malaysia, our oil exports will run out less than a decade! In fact government won't be able to continue subsidizing our domestic demand for fuel much longer!
What government need to do is to push for private and public universities to introduce EV related courses!

I foresee big business for EV mechanics going forward! But how many malays are aware of this! As for local chinese, i think safe to say, you see mushrooming courses in near future!

I won't place my bet on hydrogen cars! hydrogen power train only suited for public transportation and heavy haulers! For personal cars, hydrogen is way to expensive to maintain! That's why EV taking ICE in big way! Because of maintenance cost! Eventually charging time will go down! Maybe most of us will spend 10 minutes to charge up at paying chargers! Beside, how many travel 500km daily! Even edrivers can fully charge and enough for whole day work!

Perhaps, in the future we will see the whole stretch of our highways of malays selling nasi lemak just to survive another day! No, i am not joking! Since nowadays majority malays are sending their children to religious schools and to Arab universites to further their islamic knowledge rather than learn science!

All this flashing of 'tuan melayu' is futile! I mean for a 100 year old former dictator, he is more interested to stay in politics than to see malays become better race!

We have yet to switch to other source of revenue! Palm oil exports is quite unstable! Today we get good price and the next price of palm oil drop! And even if price of palm oil shot up, we also face high cooking oil price domestically!
As for manufacturing, look, Africa and latin America is looking more and more attractive! Indonesia would be first choice if given the choice between Malaysia and Indonesia!

Malaysia islamic values are similar to Indonesia! In fact Indonesia too moving towards more conservative muslims!
But unlike Indonesia, malays have yet tasted a world with no privy of oil export!

Did you know so many Singaporean politicians were against MRT back in the 90s! They say busses are more that sufficient to ferry Singaporeans! If late Lee Kuan Yew listened to this dumbasses, Singapore would be no different from Malaysia! And the cost of building MRT in Singapore back then was too high and impractical! Can you imagine how LKY able to rise above!
