The key is PE remained "LOW" if the revenue & profits remained "FLAT" or "REDUCED", we all know that. The only way to make it "HIGH" is "GROW".

kkteng70 I agree with leslieroycarter PE low. nothing to shout or laugh but Share trader or investor always looking profit or capitalgain. If Earning 'Remain' or slighly drop , Share price Keep going down trend . OF COURSE PE ""LOW""" and keep telling coming Good and bright. I may advise you watch out carefully. I might be wrong . but I am sure some thing is not right. you know why . ? If you look at monitor KLCI market for some time . you will understand what am I trying to say.

yup, another downside of 30%-40% is not a big deal to Venfx, the only thing I admire to Venfx is his strong hold on his spirit about EG since last year, please keep it up though it has never brought any return but losses to the investment since last year. Hope coming quarter will bring something good to the company & investors.

Quarterly reports for the past 4-6 quarters proved that nothing improvement from box-built segment, but yet the management & VENFX kept beautified the carrot.

Revenue remained flat for almost a year & profits were inconsistent. No matter how sweet VenFx talk about EG, it does not relate to the facts. It is just like a empty talking as per what the management's claim, higher profit from box-build segment but has been failed to deliver what promised by the management.

Those calling for Good result are either blind or something

Don't try to jump in with one quarter result, better read past 3 years' quarterly results.

Next q may be good, then follow by 2 bad quarters. Very easy to play but may be too late to join, be cautious not to be the stupid one to hold when down trending later.

The result is truly shocking, bad is not enough to describe.

跌倒是为了再度攀爬, bluefun now become crystal ball fortune teller, can predict what is going to happen next few quarters.

beyond expectation = never expect that worse, getting worse every quarter

But DRB Hicom's result is very bad too, very inconsistent, so to speak.

Normally, "Sifu" will buy the stock first which easy to push (low market cap, low number of shares), and it is on trend, then 'Sifu' will ask their members to buy. But guess who is the winner at the end? Answer: 'Sifu'

Imaging you bought 0.915 & sold 0.925, transacted 20k, your contra gain is just as little as RM200.

Comparing the risk you take, I wonder if anyone can follow your method of transaction in making money in the long run or not.

hng33, there were 37,900 shares transacted @ 0.925 10 minutes ago, consider still have other people's Q at that price, your quantity of transaction is so small, no wonder you can hit & run everytime.

meiling0809, it is very normal up & down in stock market, this is not goreng stock, the drop in price just reflected a bit of disappointment from the market, even thought the result may not be as good as many expected, but still not bad, that's my 2 cents opinion, you may just ignore it.

Not bad result

Once was recommended by iCapital, after the fire incidend, all collapsed.

Net profit for the quarter = 27.767mil

Included in the net profit is Other income 19.52mil which is one off thing.

Excluded the other income, the net profit will be 8.245mil, as compared to last year's same quarter (RM9.93mil), the profit is actually dropped.

Better careful, the result is not as good as initially read.

Comment from quarterly report:
The other income for the current quarter was RM20.18 million as compared to RM0.25 million for the preceding year corresponding quarter, higher by RM19.92 million, mainly due to the realisation of prepayments received of RM19.52 million for incidental expenses and consequential loss which formed part of the compensations received in relation to the compulsory acquisition of the affected two plots of land which house the steel processing plant, office and warehouse of Supreme Steelmakers Sdn Bhd.
