We believe there is now more than an even chance that Gamuda will be able to raise the amount from the disposal of its 40% stake in Splash, instead of having to make a cash call as per our previous base-case scenario. This is following the signing on 10 Jul 2015 of a supplemental agreement to the master agreement between the Federal and Selangor state governments pursuant to the restructuring consolidation of the water sector in Selangor. We believe the parties hope to resolve the long-standing impasse within the next 60 days, including coming out with a revised offer for Splash that is acceptable to its shareholders.

Recall that Gamuda rejected an earlier takeover offer from Selangor state government (led by the previous Menteri Besar) that valued Splash in its entirety at only MYR250m vis-à-vis its book value of about MYR2.8bn and DCF valuation of MYR3.9bn. In our previous discussion with Gamuda, it hinted that it will seriously consider a revised offer from the Selangor state government, if it values Splash at “close to its book value”. For illustration purposes, Gamuda’s 40% stake in Splash would fetch MYR896m, MYR1bn and MYR1.12bn based on 0.8x, 0.9x and 1x its book value respectively.

Based on estimated profit for year 2015 on The Edge report 20/11/14 CFO said target is 75M PBT. In order to achieve it last quarter should be about 26M PBT. about the same as last quater.
Total for the year estimated to be 23sen/year. At PE 8, TP price is 1.80. Can buy some at current rate.

Red bull business to be estimated at 200 million to 250 million. Additional profits about 20 million. Total earning EPS may hit 30 sens/year. PE of 8 should be 2.40. However with red bull contract of 5 years, should have higher PE of 10. Good time to accumulate now. Funds are buying in that is why limited downside despite the current pessimistic market.

Yeah some respite amid the drop in prices. Dividends are really sweeteners at current time.

If a company's performance is worse than before but price continues to be high, then it will be a matter of time before it adjust to it's fair value. Unless you are keeping this in a freezer, then of course it does not matter until you need the money. If investing values is base on this then almost every counter in klse is good and going up. The funds started with with very low price. Unless you started the same as they did, you will be buying at a really high price. Be careful.

The market have many groups of people. Fund manager,syndicates and major share holders. Most times they will not try not to out do one another. Fund mangers can accept paper gains, syndicates probably want more immediate gains. Major share holders would like their counters to go up. Unless there is a reason the share or company doesn't have an intricate value or loss making, almost everybody would like it to go up. Who will be that catalyst, we will have to wait.

Ah Huat is planning to make OSKH valuable and attractive by merging PJD and OSKP. It becomes a much more better company than by themselves. When Fund managers have bought enough PJD shares then all 3 of them will move up in tandem. Ah Huat push up OSKH while fund managers push up PJD Shares. They will work together to establish value and profit.
