candle a bit tricky le...study how to read RSI and MACD easier le...just use google finance or yahoo finance...start from studying USA stocks...study those super stocks like VISA..FB and APPLE...learn from there...then you will know how to do TA.. see whether they cross the threshold line..everyone stock abit different...

BUT BE WARNED..TA or candle WORKS BEST ON STOCKS WITH GOOD Fundamental..

Company with bad fundamentals is hard to play even with TA or candle..

no brainer question right...if someone can predict every stock movement perfectly..he is the richest the man in the history of mankind..

topglove still a growing stock..the boss..tan sri lim..keeps growing the company by expanding new factories and venturing into condom business...tell you alot about the boss...ONE WHO IS INVESTING FOR THE SHAREHOLDERS

he alr damn rich..but he keeps pushing the company to grow...with such boss and influence...you can sleep on top glove..whatever correction happened to this company..just buy only..

If the management is super...the earnings will come in..topglove is such example.

come back after 1 year la...after the money starts rolling in...not easy to play also la..cos even if their earnings increase also not really because they are expanding..its more like one project giving out a lot money..similar to prestariang case on their skin project

investor more interested in growing companies than cash cow companies..

put your money on other counters la..like inari or penta..those involved in semicon industry...they are the movers..cos the world is going more tech advance and internet based...semiconductor will be used in everything in our lives..more potential...berjaya food is localised business ..with a matured market dy...unless they give out more dividend..the stock wont really move la..cos they are not expected to expand with ONLY 30 million population only in MSIA.

semiconductors are used by people around the world..potential users up to 7 billion ppl or more...since those poorer countries are slowly..but eventually adopting more modern techs.

only thing to watch out is the exchange rate...another few stocks i can suggest is lockhead martin..northrop..boeing..all good return..but all these is involved in making weapons la..for USA defence department...

your logic is incomplete...klci lacks big player from local and foreigners...not enuf players to support the price of a undervalued stock....if a stock is undervalued..there will be enuf volume to support its price any time of the day...too bad la...malaysia..even still today..ppl have to explain it as ...ERMM YOU KNOW..ABOVE SINGAPORE...but most ppl knows it also for the wrong reason..MH17 AND MH370

BUT if you want to learn..JUST LEARN USA enuf dy..too many good companies to invest it..give you some example..

APPLE..FACEBOOK..VISA..MASTERCARD..MOODYS..ORACLE..MICROSOFT..

VISA and FB my personal favourite...and also can consider alibaba and NTES..

if you have enuf money..as in rm20k at least..buy tencent in hk stock market..

ohh..another thing..dufu is old school tech based on physical data storage..now most big companies offer cloud services le..look at apple..amazon..and microsoft esp..when microsoft share price was stagnant..and the new CEO direct them to cloud business and earnings increase and share price increase also.

HUAAN...penny stock la..not easy to play..you have to be very good at TA to time the entry point cos i dont think their fundamental is that good...goreng stock also need to have experience.

instead of straight up giving up..just learn from it lor..i mean..i survived 97/98 and 2007/08 ..KLSE still here mah..ppl are still earning money even after that...

USA stocks..at one point was damn QUIET( whoever reading this ..this is how QUIET is spelled not 'QUITE') too...as recently as 2012 through 2013 but now..look at them few years later.

Buy bigger companies stocks le..rather than those few mid to small size company you just mentioned (besides sunway) cos your way is more like banking on fast and furious returns..Just my observation only le..

sunway wb way too overpriced le..of course collapse le..exercise price alone alr 1.86..way more than the mother share..add in wb price..lagi overload.

Follow the trend..like now and the foresee future..most of the money is in tech stock...so those in semicon industry will do well...look at inari..penta..kesm..

France and UK is alr pushing for fuel free cars in the next 10 to 20 years...oil price will be lower..but you can see effort from the middle east to up the oil price by cutting production..so for now..it can be safely estimate that oil price will hover ard 60 to 70 ish tops

The next big thing will be all tech based..since AI is alr taking over most of the labour jobs and possible cars too. Electrical components and batteries and semiconductor will continue be good in the future. Even in poor countries technology are growing...just based on the usage of modern day touch phones.

So testing equipment for semiconductor and electrical components will be good too.

only drawback now is that MYR strengthening..so investors will of course be cautious of that too.


this year's trend is aluminium too ..since aluminium price shoot up..but only PMETAL is really going up la.. lol.

Anyone got any other ideas as well? feel free to share.

lextcs bursa is always the last mkt for any overseas funds to look at. I mean why should they look at us? ringgit is on a long term decline against every imaginable currencies. You have our flip flop goons running the system pretending to be smart when they are not. Some of the funds just come over and nibble here and there for 'yin chow' or entertaining sake. Bursa is such a controlled small tiny winny mkt. The fact is the system is run by 'red eyes' little napoleons who know nuts about what free mkt is all about.

You think too much la..sometimes..market will retreat for no reason..sometimes is collective panic mode for correction..which is good one in some sense...

Of course some big guns might take this opportunity to manipulate the price abit...
like for example...ABC funds has 100 millions shares in this XYZ company...but if you notice the buy and sell column the total of shares and volume is low...SO..if they can like sell probably few hundred k of stocks ( which is peanuts compared to their 100 millions share) to pump the stocks down..so that..other retailer will follow to pump and maybe entice other big guns to throw a bit more..then

ABC use fresh funds to buy in at lower price...IT HAPPENED..all around the world...but if you follow regulations..it is legal.

Since you share, i also share something about GE to you...
5 years ago..i still remember this perfectly..two days b4 GE..the market tanks because there is real feel and fear opposition might win GE....

On the day after GE..barisan won even though opposition was strong...STOCK MARKET ROARS 100 POINTS ...first and last time i have seen triple digits increase in KLCI

This time around..oppositions are splinted into so many factions. So..it is no brainer and i dare to bet that barisan is going to win again.

( note here...i just analyse it..i am not advocating any1 to support AND I am not openly supporting which party to vote.)

Best time to buy is pre GE... at least that is what my experience is telling me.

malaysia market is small..not enough big players to support the price unlike in USA market. Trust fund managers from all over the world plays in USA...trillions of ringgit we are talking about. If you sell someone will be waiting to buy. They have enough players to support the volume of a stock easily esp if the company is doing good but do not really move.

Malaysia is...too little big players to support price ..so when few ikan bilis throw stock cos they think is too slow for them..the others will follow...and also market sentiment also la.

Unless you are big company..eg petronas..oil price drop but their share dont really move...cos big players all supporting it,

i have seen alot of this happening in malaysia stock...another good example is aluminium sector...aluminium rocket high..but only PMETAL move...others like tongher and alcom move a bit only if any. both also making money but PMETAL more famous and bigger some more..

If in USA, others company from same sector would have move too.

welcome back to reality of investing in stock market. Dont need to be sad...be happy that you realise nothing goes up forever.

But if you are sad everytime a stock goes down..then i suggest you dont invest in stock market. Moreover this drop is just peanuts compared to what happened to IWCITY not too far back...60% drop in two days.

This kind of 'drop' is called correction after such a bull run. It is very normal in stock market.

If like that ONLY alr sad..then you have unrealistic expectation of how stock market works.

Cannot be emo la in playing stock market. You can never win if you are emo and listen to suggestions to buy and sell in forum. MUST LEARN TO FILTER INFO and do your own due diligence in evaluating whether a stock has reached a level whereby is too high to go in...

Learn how to read RSI and MACD...Technical Analysis will help you alot in evaluating the price at that moment.
