Few small investors buy this kind of counter, preferring instead to lose money on speculative counters.

Goodies could include a final dividend which is several times higher than last year's level or a bonus issue which the company hasn't declared for over 10 years.

Maybank very strong today. Highest in almost 5 years. Uptrend would likely continue till the release of its final quarter results.

I believe the correction should be over today. Soon Keck Seng would be on its way up again.

Keck Seng should distribute at least 50% of its earnings as dividends and let investors decide what to do with their money. Then its final dividend would be much much more than 9 cents.

Keck Seng's directors would be laughing all the way to the banks if they could privatize it without revaluing its properties bought over 40 years ago.

At 12.5 sen a share, it is still trading at about the same level as the 2007/08 global financial crisis. No reason for it to remain at this level.

Don't worry about Maybank. It is one of the safest if not the safest stock to invest in. It has never failed to deliver over the past 12 to 13 years.

Keck Seng has a lot of properties, mainly plantation and development land that have not been revalued since 1980. In its latest quarterly report, its NTA was stated as RM7.10. Its actual NTA could be several times higher.

Big boys would decide. Small investors would just follow them.

Genting made 13.52 sen a share during the July to September quarter. If it could maintain or even improve on its earnings in its subsequent quarters, its full year eps this year should be not less than 55 sen. Assuming a conservative PE of 12, it should be worth RM6.60 a share.

When MRCB was struggling at around 30 sen a share before July last year, I wrote several times that it was trading at 30 year low and there was little downside risks. Those who had heeded my opinion and bought at around 30 sen would have doubled their investments.

Wow! All eyes on MRCB today. I am an onlooker now but a word of reminder. Those calling the shots are the big boys, not the small investors. Most small investors are just followers. If the big boys say that MRCB is worth RM1, they have the capability to drive it up to RM1. Haha, not saying that it would go up to RM1.

In early October last year, both RHB Bank and CIMB were trading at about the same level, ie around RM5.40 a share. Today, CIMB has spiked to almost RM6.20 a share while RHB is still struggling at RM5.60. No hope already RHB.

@theyoungman, no, no, no, I am not great. I can only admit that I am not greedy these days. When MRCB was at its worst, my paper loss was twice the amount I eventually made.

Keck Seng's turnover yesterday at 316,700 is considered very heavy. Even turnover exceeding 200,000 is rare. I think by the time its daily turnover exceeds 1 million shares its share price could have gone up to at least RM7.

Picked up a few thousand Genting shares yesterday and today. Haven't held Genting shares for more than two years already.

MRCB's performance today has exceeded my expectations. After waiting patiently for three and a half years, I sold all my MRCB shares today. Would wait for it to drop by around 10% before I go in again. Otherwise I would just switch to bank counters.

Already up RM1 since the beginning of the year. My second best performing stock after MRCB but only by a small margin.

No more traditional CNY rally this year. It spiked by over 10% in Jan last year.
