Contact ur remiser and he/she will enable stop limit to u. U only can use stop limit using dekstop by clicking advance mode at RHS of screen

Hong Leong Bank's HLeBroking is getting worse, keep cutting cost to ramp up profit, service is getting bad, analysts report is also very shallow, now even want to discontinue the service of emailing the statement. I think i have to start looking for other broker.

You said it, it really getting from bad to worse. I had already close my HLeBroking a few months back and join Am Securities. Moreover Am Securities staff are rather friendly and helpful but I can't say the same for HL.

Just open a new trading account during this MCO period and you can open it online. They can also mail the form to your address and collect the form after you fill it out. This is very useful for opening a new account without going to a branch like a bank.

during this MCO period if someone want to start trade. go for rakuten trade. minimum document need. account will active around 2hours-1day if apply in business hours. all apllication online only. no need go anywhere. just prepare your document only to upload

wont recommend using Maybank if u r a serious n active trader. their system will be down on many weekends! u will get frustrated! under maintenance they say. pirahhh. been like this for n umpteen years! myself still looking for broker with best trading systems. anybody knows which 1??

Stop Loss Order vs Stop Limit Order
Stop Loss Order and Stop Limit Order are features that help automate an order once it reaches a certain price. There is a key difference between Stop Loss and Stop Limit. If a Stop Loss is triggered, a market order is placed (where the stock will be sold at market price – which may be higher/lower than the Stop Loss). If a Stop Limit is triggered, a limit order is placed (stock sold when the price level is reached). Do note that if the market gaps down below your Stop Limit, your Stop Limit will not trigger.

HLeBroking has been having technical issues very often of late. Twice in a week so far. Until they sort out the issues amicably, stay away from it.
