I hate to be pessimistic, but so far there is no successful china car in our market or even in Asean. As car is the biggest expenses in any household budget, Malaysian consumers have become very sophisticated in selecting their purchase. Below 60k market is tightly gripped by perodua, and above 60k is dominated by toyota and honda. So long a brand cant convince the market of its reliability, then perhaps they can just sell a few.
