As if it is so easy to land with a govt job. There is only a 5% or 10% chance you can get the job, depends on which profession you are in. For Chinese, easiest is to be SRJC Primary school teachers.

I dont think the bright ones will apply and they are probably on scholarships ( especially for them) and have jobs waiting for them at GLCs at much higher salaries. Those who apply are likely those who have graduated from perceived lower standard local universities ( like one which insists no NMs but accepts foreigners) and cannot get a job in the private sector due to stiff competition from the NMs.I have met many UiTM graduates working as waiting staff while trying to get a job related to their degrees.I applauded them for taking the initiatives to earn some money in any jobs but it will be tough getting the preferred jobs.
