Mr Pavilion, are you trying to say Actis just a dumb institution for them to accept the stake frm previous holders? Maybe you should do some research on actis and their investment portfolios, what are their track record, investment styles, entry/exit strategies and so on.

Well, my entry price was 1.15 but then again let's just assume it is 50% more than rm1 like you said, and let's agree upon a time frame in future, maybe when GHL release their AR 2017 and we shall see who's the dumb one.
When a big investor like Actis bought 44% of GHL, he can negotiate for a good pricing because of huge capital amount and expertise whereas a small shareholder cannot negotiate for that pricing unless market crash. When Henyuan bought 51% of shell, he only paid RM1.92 per share in 2016 and the share price now is RM5.31 per share because Hengyuan can do better than shell. ACTIS AND SIMON have to deliver their vision and mission of the company as they have the years of expertise in this field and have to compete with competitors just like Hengyuan have to compete with petronas and others for the benefit of the shareholders and public. So far the track record of GHL is very good for the past 5 years and l believe Actis and SIMON now will become stronger to compete in ASEAN at least so as to deliver better profit ahead.
Pavilion: no investors here, you should buy a air ticket and fly to London advised and discussed with Actis for their acquisition of ghl.....I think you able to advise them. They may give you 1 million as consultation fee from your expertise.

For your pleasure reading. See what other people doing. This one back by Vincent Tan...and everybody want to put their money here. Technology is threat....to existing player.
You don't understand forum? Anybody can talk here not necessary shareholder, anybody who has interest on the subject or co.
Why must we get personal...one opinion not necessary right or wrong...especially stock market...Good company get low valuation and not so good company get high valuation...price doesn't tell everything.
When do you think actis and previous holders negotiated for the share buy over? and what was ghl share price at that particular time during negotiations?
Who want to buy P.E. 60? Catalyst.....Alipay?...soon you will hear all bank carry Alipay.....Ghl is me too....bandwagon. You need to find another sucker who willing to pay for P.E. 80.
Great results from ghl. Like I stated before. Their revenue mostly recurring. Based on the trend, it climbing up steadily over the years. Let me share some stories for you guys laugh over the weekend. Back then in 2015, there is a clown (everyone knows who is him by now), keep saying GHL stood at 80 cents 50x pe, overvalued. Currently priced at 1.44 but pe dropped to 49x. The clown still talk about high pe bla bla & Alipay not gonna benefit ghl (everyone knows alipay not exclusive partner with ghl, so what? They still growing with double digits yoy) . Over the 3 years, I make money, the clown making more jokes. Anyhow thanks for the laughter, and congratulations to the investors here. Have a nice weekend.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
