The Company regrets to announce that a fire had occurred at its main manufacturing plant in Klang, Selangor. The incident affects all Kaiten Precision Sdn Bhd, Notion Venture Sdn Bhd and Autic Mekki Sdn Bhd (all are wholly-owned subsidiary companies), and the plant belongs to Notion Venture Sdn Bhd located at Lot 6123, Jalan Haji Salleh, Batu 5 ½, Jalan Meru, 41050, Klang, Selangor.

The fire started at about 2pm today, 20 October 2017. The fire department and insurance representatives are still conducting investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire. All the assets are adequately covered by insurance. Sufficient insurance coverage has been taken for consequential business loss.

The Company has yet to ascertain the full financial and operational impact and consequences of the incident. The Board will make further announcement whenever there is new development as well as any significant financial impact on the insurance claim.

The announcement is dated 20 October 2017.

Fire even if covered by insurance will stil results in tremendous loss over the nx few quarters. May take a few years to be back to normal.

Hope our SC can also investigate to find out whether the directors are selling down their shares when the fire started before requesting for suspension bcos it can be tantamount insider trading i.e. they sell down the shares and then buy back when it dropped down to below 0.70 b4 suspense,.

Has anyone realise that hlebroking system broken down after 2.30pm open? Unable to trade even by calling your remisiers. Apparently HLIB claimed that their system is unable to link with BURSA. So no trade can be done until 4.45pm. For hlebroking clients who are unable to sell Notion during the selldown, you should start thinking another mire reliable broker to trade.

About 2.40pm onwards hlebroking system down, the timeframe before suspension should be able to cut loss or unload the shares but unable to do so for hlebroking clients.

How serious is the extent of the fire affecting the production plant involved or some might simply take the opportunity to blow things out of proportion ? Wait to hear announcement from the company to clarify the seriousness first. This is the opportunity for those daring daredevils to buy and you won't know it can make huge profits from the big discounted price. I tried this b4 and only with such incidents some are over fearful and over exaggerated .
