Noted that Notion shares difficult to move up bcos you can see a lot of ESOS listings @ RM0.80 and employees will sell to make margin gain of more RM0.30 (RM1.16 - RM0.80). Furthermore, there will also be selling from the private placement (not sure what their price)

SELLING FROM ESSOS ENTITLEMENTS IN FACT HAVE VERY LIMITED IMPACT ON ITS SHARE PRICE. SHARES DERIVED FROM ESSOS HAD BEEN BEEN HAPPENING FOR A LONG TIME. THE QUANTUM OF ESSOS SHARES IS ALSO LIMITED. MOREOVER SENIOR STAFF WHO GOT MORE ESSOS THAN THE GENERAL STAFF NORMALLY WILL HOLD ON THEIR SHARES TO EARN ITS FREQUENT DIVIDEND PAYOUTS N TREAT IT AS LONG TERM INVESTMENTS( IN VIEW OF THEIR COMPANY'S GOOD BUSINESS PROSPECTS) .
HENCE ITS SHARE PRICE WAS ABLE TO TOUCH ITS RECENT HIGH OF 1.35

Way back when a some of us bot at 40 sen the projected target was 1.30. A lot of the forward earnings are already priced in at least where 2017 is concerned. Unless the Johor plant brings in profit much higher than expectation, price wd hover around here.
People buying in now shd b willing to keep for a few years for the new business profit to kick in significantly.
We have been with notion for years , suffering before the price moved up last year.

Did you read correctly. Eps is down compared to last Q. Brace for heavy selling tmrw.
However, its quarterly net profit was mainly derived from income tax gain of RM2.27 million in 3QFY17. The company's operating income shrank substantially to RM765,000 in the quarter under review from RM4.23 million a year ago.
