whenever there is a PP, bursa shud place a moratorium on those PP shares where it cant be sold for say 3 months or 6 months. Selling it immy is basically cheating the retail players

GLOBAL | Presiden Chile Sebastian Pinera didenda AS$3,500 (RM14,141.75) kerana bergambar bersama orang ramai di sebuah pantai tanpa memakai pelitup muka pada Jumaat lalu, menurut penguatkuasa kesihatan negara itu.

Menurut Reuters, gambar swafoto tersebut menunjukkan Pinera dan seorang wanita dengan jarak yang rapat dengan kedua-duanya tidak memakai pelitup muka.

Gambar itu tersebar di media sosial pada awal bulan ini.

Pinera memohon maaf dan mengaku bersalah sebaik gambar itu tersebar.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): The suspension of regulated short-selling (RSS) on Bursa Malaysia is set to be lifted on Jan 1 next year, after the sanction was imposed by the regulators for nine months.

However, the regulator extended the ban on the intraday short-selling (IDSS) and intraday short-selling by proprietary day traders (PDT Short Sale) until Feb 28, 2021. Consequential to the extension of PDT Short Sale, temporary waivers in relation to PDT will also be extended to Feb 28, 2021.

To recap, the ban on short selling of equities was imposed by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia starting on March 24 this year when global markets were hammered by the equity rout. The move, said the regulators, was “part of their proactive measures to mitigate potential risks arising from heightened volatility and global uncertainties.”

I think without the news of the Private Placement, MyEg would have been GORENGed to RM3 by now. Ah Wong knew that people will PUMP and DUMP without mercy. Many will get trapped and Ah Wong will get the blame. That's why the PP announcement is so timely.

Myeg used to be RM3 no big deal before election. Signed off The eGov 3 years extension that’s the foundation and most crucial portion I felt. Others are all potential but not confirmed (GST, Vacinne, NIIS) so to hit any one of the three will be jackpot to this counter. For long term investor, stay calm now is holiday season. For trader, no comment. Cheers.

（吉隆坡27日讯）移民局总监拿督凯鲁指出，一旦移民局全新的综合系统在2023年启用后，民众出入境的护照将不再使用手动盖印，而是以数码扫描进行取代。

他说，启用新系统以及在出入境柜台安装闭路电视，是为了提高移民局官员的服务效率和阻止官员进行不当行为的措施之一。

“全新的移民局综合系统将结束包括手动盖印护照的旧做法，护照盖印的方式将被数码扫描取代。”

凯鲁接受《星报》访问时表示，当外国旅客首次访问马来西亚时，也可以通过自动关卡入境大马，而不必排队检查护照。

据悉，这项全新的综合性移民系统将耗资12亿令吉，预计将于2023年全面投入运营。

凯鲁表示，当局也将在出入境的移民关卡柜台，包括KLIA、KLIA2、新山以及亚庇等地点安装更多的监控闭路电视，以便可以对这些柜台的活动进行密切监视。

他补充，这些耗资约2000万令吉安装的闭路电视，预计将在明年启用。

凯鲁表示，一旦新的移民综合系统启用后，就不再有人声称可以为护照提供印章服务。

“如果护照上盖章，我们就知道有问题了。”
