MY EG Lodging Sdn. Bhd., a sub-subsidiary of the Company has entered into a MOU with Johor
Corporation on 3 April 2018 to explore the possibility to purchase or lease a land situated within
Muar Furniture Park.
The Company had on 22 October 2018 entered into a MOU with University of Malaya to jointly
promote and foster the development of academic and research projects in blockchain, as well as
for the implementation of an on-campus e-wallet.
The Company had on 12 October 2021 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding of Strategic
Cooperation with the Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things of the China Academy of
Information and Communications Technology (“CAICT”) to establish and develop a close
cooperative relationship to cooperate, support and develop mutually as well as to carry out various
forms of cooperation to realise mutual benefit and development. On 17 November 2022, the
Company had entered into a Collaboration Agreement (“the Agreement”) with CAICT for the
Company to own and operate the Xinghuo International Supernode that will provide connectivity
from China to the rest of the world.

The Company had on 24 November 2021 entered into a MOU with A Tech Insure Sdn Bhd to
provide Malaysian civil servants with a platform to purchase motor vehicle takaful coverage
together with road tax renewal by way of an interest-free Shariah compliant Qard loan facility that
enables instalment payments via a salary deduction plan of up to 10 months.
The Company had on 6 October 2022 entered into a MOU with MIMOS Technology Solutions Sdn
Bhd to jointly develop and operate the national layer 1 public blockchain using Zetrix and MIMOS
blockchain technology, as the components of the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure.

Silly isn't it? If the government already have the ANPR installed to detect the road tax and insurance renewal much earlier why should they only do away with the physical road tax disc now? I think the transport minister is smarter to save cost for the benefit of the people now.

Today we all talk about digital and Blockchain, bla bla bla. Undoubtedly physical copies, for example a fixed deposit certificate from a bank, it is less likely to be forged than a FD receipt in electronic form, aren't most of those money scams now happen to be through the internet?

Selepas pengumuman saya pagi tadi bahawa pelekat "road tax" tidak lagi diwajibkan untuk dipaparkan di cermin kenderaan, saya tahu ramai yang ada pelbagai persoalan. Saya akan memberikan pencerahan kepada soalan-soalan yang sering ditanya;

1) Adakah wajib untuk download apps "MyJPJ"?

Tidak. Ia adalah salah satu opsyen sahaja untuk mendapat salinan digital untuk road tax dan lesen memandu.

2) Kalau tak dapat download apps MyJPJ sekarang dan tak dapat tunjuk digital road tax, adakah saya akan disaman?

Tidak. Pihak penguatkuasa boleh mengesahkan status road tax dan lesen melalui sistem dalam gadget penguatkuasaan.

3) Adakah road tax dan lesen memandu masih perlu dibayar selepas tempoh sah tamat?

Ya. Perlu dibayar. Hanya sticker tak perlu ditampal.

4) Kalau warga emas yang tak ada smart phone dan kawasan yang tak ada internet, macam mana?

Jangan bimbang, digital format bukan diwajibkan. Masih boleh dapatkan sticker road tax dan lesen fizikal dari JPJ sekiranya perlu.

5) Kalau kereta bukan dipandu oleh pemilik, macam mana tunjukkan digital road tax?

Senang sahaja, digital road tax boleh dicetak dalam kertas dan simpan dalam kereta. Namun, kalau tak dapat tunjuk bukti pun, bukan satu kesalahan...pihak penguatkuasa akan check butiran dalam gadget mereka.

6) Mengapa saya tak dapat login MyJPJ sejak pagi tadi?

Seperti mana-mana sistem yang baru, sudah tentu ramai orang ingin mendaftar pada masa yang sama. Trafik yang sangat tinggi.

Saya tahu ada banyak lagi persoalan oleh orang ramai. Kita akan cuba memberi penerangan yang sejelas-jelasnya.

Saya sedar dalam apa sahaja proses perubahan, ia akan mengambil masa untuk disesuaikan. Ada pihak yang tidak akan setuju dengan perubahan tersebut.

Saya menghormati semua pandangan dan cuba menguruskan perubahan sebaik mungkin

Saya bersama pasukan saya di MOT dan JPJ akan cuba memperbaiki sebarang kelemahan yang timbul dalam proses perubahan ini.
