MYEG’s recently launched NFT marketplace, NFT Pangolin, will be one of the first applications to be hosted on the platform and will introduce Zetrix-minted NFTs on the platform. Compared to the expensive costs associated with Ethereum, Zetrix MYEG says it will provide lower minting charges and gas fees to reduce the financial barriers to entry for participants which will encourage more artists, traditional and digital alike, to explore the potential of blockchain and a new platform as a means of showcasing and trading their work.

PETALING JAYA: In anticipation of a market consolidation phase, UOB Kay Hian (UOBKH) Research has opted for companies, which will declare handsome dividends in the upcoming results season, to be its top alpha picks in February.

The research house said it will focus on high-yielding stocks with back-ended dividends as well as anticipated special dividends to deliver the alpha total returns.


Its alpha “buy” picks for February include Genting Malaysia Bhd, Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Bhd, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), My E.G. Services Bhd (MyEG), Yinson Holdings Bhd and British American Tobacco (M) Bhd (BAT).

If you were to compare myeg and topglove, i would say myeg is way undervalue. As you can see, topglove is still making quarterly losses and their shares are even larger. Share price is above 0.80 now.

Uncertainty casted over its immigration biz; TP cut
We had a conversation with the management following the news implying MyEG will no longer be involved in the nation’s immigration system by 2025. The related concession business comprises c.10% of MyEG’s FY23E revenue, and its ancillary business could also be impacted. We make no change to our earnings forecasts, though our TP is cut to MYR1.01 (-26%) as we change our valuation methodology to SOTP (PER previously). Maintain BUY; its new businesses could grow to fill the void by then.
