i bought ambank-co at 0.14 and sold at 0.265. i bought 177 lot...see how much i earned. after that i bought again at 0.185 and sold at 0.22...now price 0.33..

With today's closing at 7.33 that is above the high (7.32) of the long legged doji (or may be seen as Gravestone Doji) formed on 18/11/13 immediate after a long black candle and in a long downtrend, AMBank (AMMB) shown sign of a bullish reversal. Three white body candle with closing price higher than the previous day formed after the long legged doji on 18/11/13 may show a strong indication of a very likely uptrend coming up. Breach above 7.38 will test its next resistance of 7.54.

paper gain = [RM7.35 - RM7.22 (Morning traded price)] X 12000
= RM 1,560

Its 16.9% of the par value of RM1, which is 16.9cents/share. Hence, if you have 1000 units, you'll get a dividend of RM169. At 7.16, after ex-date, it will probably drop to RM6.99.

The recent newspaper reports in bank mergers, I don't thin anz bank keen on more share in Ambank, more likely is a larger local bank to acquire instead . See if the last few are keen ?
