Hi last night results was the worst quarterly results since 31 Dec 2005. That is more than 8 years ago. Seem like those research analysts going to downgrade this stock soon as the results get worse and going forward will be bad too due to one off expenses. At current price, not to buy. Those selling yesterday will be happy now

Hahaa. That is wonderful. Vin Cullen - See Affin Bank the smallest bank in Msia. Profit also RM200 mill and also slightly better than CIMB. Meaning in asset size CIMB is the 2nd biggest but in term of profitability they are the smallest in Msia

The mgt said that there will be more provision in the next qtr but should not affect as badly as Q4FY14. Q2FY15 onwards the profitibility would back to normal.

EPF has been aggressively accumulating this counter over the past few weeks. MUFJ's selling pressure has abated somewhat. Unlikely to drop much due to poor financial result.

I have an different opinion. I guess CIMB will drop further due the latest poor result. I would choose to stay sideline for sometimes. Nevertheless, I would still keep my long term lost CIMB-my unlucky investment.

Fake uptrend or not only major shareholders like EPF or other big fund companies only know n could buy in such a big volumes during Friday's closing. I don't think they r so stupid as that if they don't have some other good news. Small investors like us don't have the ability to buy so much! Trade at own risk.

If I know, I would buy first before telling someone else to buy. If you are taking a long term view, say around 2 years, it is still a good buy.

EPF might be pushing up the price to sell back to Cimb Group. Since Cimb is proposing 10% buyback. Are Cimb using dividends to buyback shares? Wow it looks like heavy volume
in coming months. And then there is MUFG--buyer Or Seller?

For one thing I don't think Petronas is going to collapse. Petronas need tobe frugal. Stop paying
personnel posted overseas like King's ransom. Cut cost and operate like normal company
with 5-10% margin. There is nothing we can do with ringgit bcos it is tied with our country
debts. 1DMB goes down, you cannot retired until 99 years Old. Okay 100 is your funeral.
