I agree, most likely declare 1.5sen dividend. 2sen will be considered bonus...but overall, 2021 looks promising, back in the high 70sen range when banking is back in play.

Haha not just this company, a lot of Malaysian companies have directors with questionable credentials. Check my comments and you will see some companies that I am buying with good management.

All analysts average target price are above 80sen on this counter, for MBSB to trade at the current price is beyond anyone understanding and irrational. MBSB is profitable even during last year Covid pandemic and still paying dividends amid at a lower tier as we are know that the pandemic is affecting the profitability. But however compare to some other penny stocks which are trading higher but lost making is simply mind blogging. Take for example AirAsia, trading above 80sens and this company may go bursts any time...and many other penny stocks which are rallying without strong business fundamentals, the market is not made up of sound investors instead it is just a brunch of gambling lunatics punting the market.

people still don't understand the difference between share price and market cap. MCap is the business valuation. On paper MBSB is worth more than AirAsia by roughly RM1b. Also, given the amount of revenues and MBSB are currently making versus other similarly valued companies they appear undervalued.

also just for reference for everyone that doesn't get it:

MCap = no. of shares * share price.

MBSB (RM0.62 per share) is worth more than BAT (RM14.34 per share) because they have around 24 times the number of shares. (MBSB 6975m shares vs BAT 285m shares).

Finally, I am not an adviser do not take this as advice, it is just an illustration. This is basic stuff that anyone that is truly interested in investment should know.

to my biggest surprise, a bank share can be cheaper than some REIT counter like Ytl reit,,Cmmt Hektar,etc mostly not making money.

when MBSB listed as Islamic Bank, i am sure you will regret if you don't buy now, it is dirt cheap

this counter is for people who are long term player, patient and have power to hold till end of this year. even a 2 sen dividend will give you earning of 3.23%, almost double the FD now

i have accumulated big quantity waiting to harvest. believe me.., Bank Negara will never be comfortable to see a bank operating at 62 sen. many other banks will want to SAPU MBSB., it is your choice to trust me..
