To be awarded a digital banking license, the 1st step is to apply for it. I don't see MBSB in the contender list.

Another applicant of the digital banking license, Big Pay, which partnered with the Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF) and Ikhlas Capital, a Singapore-based private equity fund manager, launched digital loans last month as part of its wider suite of financial offerings.

The service makes BigPay the first product to have a full digital personal lending product as part of its offering in Malaysia. BigPay Later Personal Loans is currently available to selected users and is expected to be progressively rolled out to more and more people.

What so special buy over other company? When buying you are paying sum huge amount to realize the acquisition.

Mbsb already wasted more than half billion to bought over AFB to get the banking license. What is the signicant impact or achievement by mbsb so far?Anyone of you here have mbsb acc deposit??
