However I'd like to keep an open mind
I honestly no idea if OPR cut or not, just saying I don't blindly believe what "influential" people's words anymore. Remember the saying "no more MCO"? What did we get in the end? Was that guy influential?

Even if OPR cut, nasib la, still won't sell PBB since the impact will be short lived.

Negative means that when you buy Public Bank shares, Teh Jai will pay you RM4.08 per share.

There is no need for you to pay any money when you buy PBB shares, Teh Jai will pay you instead.

I see pbb under selling pressure situation as temporary setback. Yes, epf is selling pbb which we can't do anything about it. We also need to look at positive side, the support around 4 before ex and after ex is still solid... What does it means? People are collecting, I believe once epf stop selling and economy improve, pbb will move to higher ground... If you don't want to wait, yes better sell and go. Again as I said, where else is a better place to park my money?

I believe the local institution selling mainly is from epf. Local retail buying will going on because of low FD rate and withdrawals from epf.

CIMB did gave me heart attack when it fell to 3.8X and today profit taking at 4.3.

PBB is always stable, huge volume of selling Q always see even greater volume of buying Q. I am relieved after seeing the QR. Will hold and probably top up if the price does not pass 4.4X before div.

Market is getting weird, many stocks with great QR hardly move, while private placement/new shareholder drove price skyrocket even with poor performance.
