All PBB supporters and shareholders are aware that the 13 cts dividend is good during this period All of you are aware ex-date is Mar 11, which is less than 2 wks / 14 days away.
All of you have family and friends and can share with them how to make some pocket money in 2 wks time. This can be useful if they need some extra funds or they are unaware where to park the extra funds they have now that can provide a good return soon. PBB is a good share and the risk is low.

Just an opinion only, you determine and decide what's best for you, your family, and your friends.

I once had a Maybank account probably few years back. Went to branch to do simple transfer before ATM/CRM was high tech. I waited closed to 30 minutes just or be served. The hall was gloomy. After that fed up already and closed my acc and went to PBB. PBb within 5 minutes called my number eventho there were many ppl. Can someone share their experience with Maybank now? I haven't visit their branch in ages after bad experience. Is it good or still same now??

Now I have Public and HLBB banking accounts only. Closed MBB account bcos of bad customer service. Closed CIMB account bcos waited like hell. Only 2 working at the counter, the others are hiding behind chit-chatting.

Talking about service i have never come across any bank as efficient service as PBB. Be the counter service of any race they are professional, courteous n fast. Its the training they had n the attitude n discipline they had undergone that made the staff shine out amongst all banks. Even the philosophy of the bank is unique, no taking of unwarranted risks n very low NPL Ultimately they focus on benefiting its shareholders by giving generous bonus n yet still maintain generous dividend n accumulating solid reserves with prudent policies in credit management,Look around its the best n should be the leading bank.

just for comparision: If u had withdrawn epf to buy PBB in January at 20.60 divide 5 av price will be 4.12 and div 0.13sen so u end up with RM4.25 and ur capital gain is RM2482. But epf gives you rm60kx5.2% = rm3120 for 12 months.(without brokerage etc)

RM2482 pbbin 2 months vs RM3120 in 12 months by epf.

SO entry price and timing is VERY IMPORTANT. You may lose more or gain more... comes down to common sense and being realistic.

Remember RHB Investment account will ALWAYS WIN , even if u lose 90% or gain 10 fold.
SO all these advisers will tell you whatever to make you in or lose or draw.. cos the final outcome is THEY win everytime without any risks.

Think very carefully.. only if u dare to lose.

Expect some YoYo price movement ahead of the MPC meeting on Thursday (discussion on OPR). Bad boys may instill fears to collect cheap.

OPR cut is very unlikely, even if there is a cut, the effect is only short term, because any OPR cut was meant to stimulate economic growth, economic growth=bank growth. In long run, it is beneficial to banks.

Try hold PBB for long term (or at least medium), don't panic sell, don't chase high (esp with hard earn EPF), the return will come slowly but surely.

Roadblocks are expected to be clear during March:
1. MCO lifted
2. Glove price settle down and so KLCI
3. EPF settling its iSinar withdrawal

With low dividends coming from some companies, perhaps, some will flow into PBB shares.

If more retailers can see, understand, and agree with the potential and profitability of PBB over others, then, demand and price would accelerate forward and faster.

Many are unaware that some cos pay reasonable dividends but offer hardly any capital/share price appreciation.
