No single person able to talk bad and bring down Public Bank. This is the best managed bank in the country. So much selling by EPF, yet this bank is still standing solidly ;unlike those rubbish glove counters blaming here and there and creating a bursabets hoax to scam newbies..

@Sunshine123 This stock is a buy till 4.50-4.60 for its true value. Looking at past quarters, you must admit that the management is holding pretty well against NPLs and other short-term liabilities. If the OPR rates are not lowered by Bank Negara, you can expect a higher price for this. In an opening economy, only good financial sectors will charge fullsteam ahead. Look at Buffett's past 30 years investing trends. There you will find some answers to what will happen six months down the Malaysian market as the people are innoculated. Good luck.

BUT somebody has been selling 7 mil shares of PBB at 4.24 non stop/// whenever buyer wants to make it 8.25... he is selling down... and he show he got a lot more to sell... looks like a speed bump by some Foreign fund clearing and cabut.. up to us small investore to sopport if we can.

Macquarie Equities Research (MQ Research) summarised January’s banking statistics released by Bank Negara. Among the key highlights include the slowdown in both credit cash and credit card spend coupled with loan applications. Meanwhile, loans and deposits rose, and consumer-loan repayment trends remained stable. Although MQ Research remains constructive on banks post-Covid19, it expects a soft sentiment post quarter results.

MQ Research prefers CIMB and RHB with Public Bank as its defensive name.
