Most people will sell before final price for privatization. The people who want takeover will collect cheaply first before announcement of takeover offer. Many will sell now even below 40sen. When they offer 60sen, most small players already sold out in the market.

For me, any offer at 60 sen a share is reasonably good. The offer price is unlikely to come near to RM1 a share.

I think they are now starting to mop up the shares from the market. That is why volume and price going up. If many people sell them below 50sen, then probably they will just offer 60sen for balance.
If less people sell them below 50sen, then they will need to increase offer price above 60sen. Just my guess

MRCB should not be taken private. They should share the profit of MRT3 project with all the minority shareholders. I won’t accept even if they offer 60sen takeover price. Must give at least RM1

There are still many undervalued assets, especially land in MRCB. If assets revalued including KL Sentral land, easily will make NTA near RM2.

Market talk is takeover price between 60 to 70 cents. MRCB NTA is RM1.01. RNAV is probably above RM2. Is this fair?

It is unfair but what can small investors do? TA Enterprise, with an NTA of RM2.60 was privatized about two years ago at 66 sen a share. If someone had wanted to take control of the company, I am sure the major share holders would demand at least RM3 to RM4 a share.

jackson, I think everyone already know of the privatization plan for MRCB. Question now is how much is the price for the minority shareholders? Everyone talking about 60 to 80 cents. I think that is too low.

Hopefully minority shareholders don't have to accept the much talked about 60 to 80 sen a share offer should there be a privatization of MRCB, instead the coming GE would propel MRCB's share price to way beyond 80 sen a share.

PrudentInvestor, let’s hope the privatization can be delayed until after General Election. If MRCB can go up 80sen from GE rally, then the privatization need to offer a price higher than that for takeover. Hopefully, RM1 or above .

UEM Sunrise Bhd could benefit from the MRT3 project as it has large commercial properties in the Dutamas-Mont Kiara area, where there will be at least two stations.

According to UEM Sunrise, its developments — including Allevia Mont Kiara, Arcoris Mont Kiara and Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur — are located within walking distance of the proposed Mont Kiara station.

In addition to these, the group’s Solaris Parq and Publika Shopping Gallery will be near the Dutamas station.

MRCB dropped to 30 sen a share in 2020, the lowest level in over a decade. It is still not far from its multi year low. Collect now and wait for a pre election rally.

Mrcb is grossly oversold.

It has dropped from 0.40 to 0.35 within 4 weeks.

Rebound is imminent. Immediate resistance is at 0.385

MRCB didn't drop below 40 sen even during the Asian Financial crisis of 1997/1998 and the World Financial crisis of 2008/2009. Its nta is around RM1 a share. Time to accumulate and wait for a sharp rebound.
