GE operates in many countries, but only the GE in Malaysia for sale. Even then only 30%. Many ppl thinking it's the entire GE. LOL!

in year 2005 many ppl chase up Kuchai, Sbagan & Kluang due to their high NTA, but the companies refused to share their wealth with shareholders. Shareholders pestered the owners but to no avail. So investors lost interest in these 3 caompanies and their share price dropped way below NTA.
Today we see the same thing happening. History repeats after 12 years. But of course, different players last time.

every wondered why this Star biz article wasn't written a month ago considering that GE(Malaysia) & AIA(Malaysia) listing was already known in 3rd quarter of last year. cos market was bad, that article maybe can push up 10% only.

need someone in Star biz to write a juicy story to push it up. KSENG,PUNCAK,PRKCORP are examples of value traps. Very high NTA, but owners dont want to share the company wealth with shareholders, so the share price become very depressed.

High NTA value trap? Not applicable to every counter, you need to do your homework and pick the right one. On buying a high NTA counter,you are getting it with discount some may be a quarter to one third of NTA. Some high NTA counters may be cash rich,debt free with good management what you need is to have patience and may have to wait for some months or years.
