@kon, I still think LTAT will privatize Bstead Holding to facilitate share transfer of profit making subsidiaries like Bplant, Pharma , Affin etc to come under LTAT directly. Just my view.
Could be double happiness, first is digital bank license follow by dividend announcement, i don't think is privatization. Hopefully today can close above 0.80.

@John, privatisation needs a lot of cash. Already heavily in debt, where to find the required fund? Also, privatisation means pumping more money into illiquid assets. This is not in line with SAA of Nazim per Star news last month.
In any case, the net assets is well above current mkt price,rights issue was at 2.55 in 2016. The price to take out minority shareholders should be more than 1.00

Boustead should do some restructuring...demerger... like what CCM did with its subsidiary Duopharma via capital reduction, distribution and share consolidation. I believe they will do that if privatisation is off the table.
Below news essentially means LTAT will reduce its investment in Local public equity from existing 44.1% to 20 %. and increase foreign public equity from 0 to 30%. In order to achieve this , LTAT may divest certain entity ? REAL USELESS STOCK! When it announced loss, prices naturally dropped. After announcement of increased profit, 1Q22 jumped 5 fold last Friday, stock price also drops! WTF man!
