KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 22): Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd’s net profit fell 11.6% to RM99.6 million in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2017 (4QFY17), from RM112.6 million a year ago.
As a result, earnings per share came in lower at 36.9 sen, compared with 41.7 sen a year earlier.
This was despite revenue rising 23.6% to RM2.83 billion, from RM2.29 billion in 4QFY16, largely due to higher oil prices and growth in sales volume.
It also declared a final dividend of 25 sen per share, amounting to RM67.5 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2017 (FY17), subject to shareholders’ approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Petron said total sales volume reached 9.1 million barrels in 4QFY17, a 10% increase from 8.3 million barrels a year earlier.
For the full FY17, Petron’s net profit surged by 70.6% to RM405.2 million, from RM237.6 million the previous year.
Appolloang take note I challenge u here .if tomorrow petronm down more than 60cent ,I will disappear from here .If the closing price is more higher than $11.4 please go away from this here .Don't come here to talk duku rambutan but actually want to buy friend crab ok.
Hard for a share giving out 25 cent dividend to go down far, it just does not make sense. Will top up much more if really down. Those waiting very low will have to wait for us to wipe out all sellers first before you could get your buy orders done.
In short, OnG sector is very bullish. Enough commenting I'm out from here, too many jokers around asking people to sell this sell that this drop that drop.

You look at the EPS but FM looks at the 25 cents dividend Price is not dtermined by EPS but determined by FM Ikan bilis can't bring any changes but the strong fund can
Not many company in bursa can pay you 25 cents dividend and better and better dividend every year. If this 25 cents at the cost of RM12 can't make you slivating what else can be more appealing to you
Petronm ada curse lah. Everytime after good or bad qtr 100% will drop first for 1week to 2weeks. Dun put hope but dun be dampened by price movement. Tayor
