As per previous records, the final dividend of 1.5 sen, if approved, will be likely be paid by this October ie. in less than 5 months' time. On an annualised basis based on its current price of 19 sen, it means an effective dividend yield of around 19% !

Jon Choivo, r u sure u really that smart that u able to predict sure price will adjust n drop 5 months time in October ? It can be higher or lower than 19 sen in October ! Yes price will adjust if dividend is to be paid within a short time from now but in 5 months time only fool can says whether the price will drop definitely from 19 sen now unless u r god !!!

Trading in L&G shares has picked up since last Thursday in anticipation of a 1.5 sen a share dividend to be announced by the end of the month. At 19 sen a share, L&G is trading at a 50% discount to its published NTA and at a dividend yield of almost 8%. Not much risk in buying at 19 sen a share.
