Sick of genting already....averaged down until it became 8% of my total assets. 3 x a yr dividend became only 1 x a yr. Lim (o(k Tahi also no integrity keep dumping $$$ into sinking empire resorts...rather be OUT.

Luckily I still hv paper profits in HK, JPN & recently bought BABA in US to sustain over 300 sessions of profit in a row...unbroken since July 29th 2020 =) Even bought las vegas sands in US @ $36.67 becos it was @ Mar 2020 low.

No hurry... I can wait for lim (ock Tahi's flagship to turn a paper profit :)

Interstate travel just re-opened after almost 10 months! Gotta need some patience @Tobby :)

Answer : Yes! That is why i bought Genting back in September! Because i knew interstate travels will be allowed soon! What i didn't expect it that, it came sooner than i have anticipated! That's why i am so appreciative for all 95% malaysians who willingly got vaccinated! I put more into Genting than Genm because i see much higher prospect for Genting especially with success of Las Vegas! As for Genm, i am waiting and see for next quarter! I only have 10% invested in Genm! That's because i am waiting to see if New York can help turn Genm profitable even without Genting Highland! If i see Genm turn black next quarter, i may immediately sell all my Genting and switch to Genm!

Haha @Tobby…. the fact that USD800m was invested for the new theme park at Genting Highlands would mean that for GenM to return to black….very much dependent on both Msia & New York as well cos there were new investments in NY too.

Let’s watch closely how results gonna be for next few quarters….Waiting for opening date of Genting Skyworlds & when Sporeans n other overseas tourists being allowed to come to Malaysia :)

Stocksafeplayer! Yeah, New York should be just as profitable as Genting Highlands! But let's wait for the next quarter as it will show us how good New York is during Genting Highlands close down! For 3rd quarter, all were firing up except for Genthing Highlands!
As for Genting, Las Vegas was a success so far so i think next quarter should be good!
I will only move aggresive into Genm once i see it's next quarter showing good numbers!

Genting US in US dollars, Genting UK in Pounds, Genting Singapore in Singapore dollar. When convert to RM, many times more than Ringgit Malaysia. Next year Genting Berhad TP RM8.00

You are right that there is no comparison between Sheldon Adelson & LKT as Sheldon Adelson is no more. He passed more than 1/2 a year ago. LKT is alive & growing the Genting group globally. Please keep up to date with current info. Tks :)
