Aiyo keyman the stamp duty is to deter short term contra traders...Genting RM5 share...long term investors buy over time in stages these charges are immaterial to long term returns..in fact i don't even realize there is stamp duty limit at rm200 before this lol...as for prosperity tax there will be minimal effect, if any, on Genting...other sectors I don't want to say la.....

incompetent policies and ill thought out plans that rips off productivity of companies who worked hard to increase income and stakeholders value will drive all foreign investors away and even local companies will have no reason to grow business in the country. either the goal is to drive away these companies or the policy makers are real dumb and incompetent. in the end, malaysians themselves lose the most if not everything they have in the country.
