Great update fr stkoay on Ghk's provisional liquidation
that turns the head upside down fr one of
destruction to reconstruction.

With assets exceeding debts and provisional liquidators aiding in restructuring,
there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel.

The situation is one that can be resolved as the circumstances and environment are not unfavorable.

LKT and GB grp will not only survive but succeed.

So Director Lim is playing the Trumph card! You know, too big to fail! So yeah, as long as he doesn't use Genting and Genm to bail out GHK, it's fine by me!
And so this issue should be settled! Since GHK assets exceed it's debts, so it's going to be a very long winded liquidation process!

Having said that, investors can take some relief! There's a 40 cents gap to capitalize on Genting! I can't, i already bought so much of Genting! Now holding paper loss! I rather buy other stocks like oil and steel which have better and faster returns! Decision is yours! Rather up to big investors to act! But having said that, this should end the anxiety over Director Lim using Genting and Genm to bailout GHK! That is all in the past!

Genting HK's Dream Cruises files winding-up application

SINGAPORE - Cruise operator Dream Cruises has filed to be wound up, following its parent company Genting Hong Kong's woes.

This comes two weeks after the operator said it will continue operating cruises here, even after its parent company Genting Hong Kong filed to be wound up last month.

There are still Dream Cruises sailings currently running in Singapore. The Dream Cruises website also showed that there are cruise departures from Singapore scheduled in the coming days, including one as early as Friday (Feb 4)

South Korea extends business curfews as Omicron cases spike

Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum says extension necessary to slow spread of Omicron after Lunar New Year celebrations.

South Korea extended COVID-19 social distancing rules on Friday for two weeks, including a 9pm curfew for restaurants, bars and gyms, amid soaring cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum said extending the restrictions, which were due to end on Sunday, was necessary to slow the spread of Omicron amid fears the Lunar New Year holiday, which ended on Wednesday, may have fuelled infections.
