Glaxo backs another company. There are 3 others currently in Ph2 trials. I think 2 of them are listed in Nasdaq

Big names that have failed and / or repeatly failed in disease modifying AD phase 3 trials include Pfizer, JNJ, Eli Lilly, BMS, Roche, Biogen, etc

A lot of small but NASDAQ listed biotechs formerly in hype eventually won't work also. Axovant Science (now known as Sio Gene), Annovis, Cassava, Cortexyme, MC Immune, etc.

An effective disease modifying AD drug is so difficult to develop that even Pfizer gave up and shut down their AD research department a few years ago. Pfizer JV Eisai were the first to commercialise an AD drug called Aricept (now known as Donepezil as a generic drug).

Last fed meeting Powell already said 0.75% not in consideration. But he may give some hawkish projections etc. Fed cannot be fully responsible for high inflation, yet cannot crash the economy. How to control Putin to stop the war? How to stop all the sanctions against Putin? How to tell China dont lockdown it will worsen supply chain disruption? There is real supply shortage, no choice. Alternatively can hike the rates more, bankrupt the highly in debt USA, crash the economy to tame down the demand side. But this method going to end up worse.

Whether its 8.3% to 8.6% or 8.6% to 8.3%, it is still high inflation. Wait until 2023 Feb CPI data then the rate will auto drop because we are comparing CPI to the high base from Putin war Feb 2022 onwards. After 14 years of easy monetary policies by all the global central banks, Im surprise 2022 then inflation really starts to bite hard. We better be mentally prepared and get used to inflation going forward.
