This stock will only go up if (1)dividend is increased, or (2)company buys back
Its own share.The reason Berkshire Hathaway share share price is high is because
The company buys back its shares and keeps it at a reasonable level to reflects
Its NTA.

Insas is too diversified to be taken private. It could sell off its stockbrokering business. In fact, the government could force it to sell if the government wants all stockbrokering companies to be bank backed.

number 6 : insas dividend is low ... meaning it can be higher. Which mean it got one way to go .. which is higher.
But come back to dividend .... DIVIDEND is NOT important.
Dividend is one way on how a company use it cash. To give out cash as dividend or to re-invest dividend for better return than can investor do with the dividend.
If u dont believe insas can do better with the cash, than u can go get LOST elsewhere. INSAS is NOT for YOU. I believe insas can do much better with the cash than i can do with the dividend received. So, i will stay and buy more insas.

Even to take private it is ok loh....but to take it private they have to offer rm 2.50 to rm 3.00, u think if they offer cheap cheap like rm 0.80 to rm 0.90 people accept meh ??

U ask yourself what type of earning power ??
When Nestle earnings yield is less than 2% pa based on PE above 50%...even u put monies in fixed deposits u get an earning power of 4% pa mah....!!

If u buy insas got earning power as Pe less than 10x...earning yield already exceed 10% pa mah...!!

U need understand what is real earning power loh...!!

Insas ROE only 4% pa....but based on rm 2.54 u generating eps of Rm 0.10 pa loh....!!

so if u buy insas at rm 0.70 u r getting yield of 14% pa....this is what we call earning power loh...!!

Nestle ROE very terror 120% pa with NTA of Rm 3.00 it generate earnings of Rm 3.60....but u need to buy nestle for Rm 140.00...so ur earnings yield is less than 2.6 % pa loh...!!

Now u compare nestle 2.6% pa v insas 14% pa, u ask who got more earnings power leh ??
Of course Insas mah...14& pa warnings yield even kindy student understand 14% pa is more than 2.6% pa mah..!

But growth proponent may argue, nestle have growth woh ??

Raider ask very logical question loh...how much growth & for how long nestle need to grow from 2.6% pa to catch up with insas yield of 14% pa even, if u assume insas has no growth at all loh...!!

The answer is very long and very uncertain when nestle can catch up mah...!!

An english old saying a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush mah...!!
Insas yield is already there with 14%pa...now u want to speculate nestle yield 2.6% pa can catch up, but when leh ??

Thus insas has definitely has higher margin of safety than nestle loh..!!

In INSAS got Redeemable Preference Share portion, included in NTA,

after redeemed the PA, the NTA will be reduce considerablely.

Not true loh...the original Leno is right mah....the preference share is treated as liability in insas case in the balance sheet mah...!!

So if u redeemed the prefernce share, the overall shareholder fund remain the same... bcos less cash & less Preference share mah....!!

The nta still rm 2.54 per share mah...!!
