Daikin bought over OYL Industries some time ago....time frame uncertain yet but they are heading toward that direction

unless all those donkeys i knew trying to pull my legs....but base on their maturity level, doesn't seem they are trying to pull my leg

Panamy is a good stock, but sayang the Japanese is not interested in the price. If they are more aggresive, may become another Nestle hehehehehe

Sound minded investor will go for it and dont have to depends on the Japanese. At 26.00 and the total dividend for this year of 1.88, the return is 7.2% doubling the FD rates.

Even at 30.00, the dividend is still good at 6.2%.

So you go figure out the attractiveness of the return. By putting the money parked in it, you getting 2 years FD rates return in a year comparing putting in FD for 2 years. In other words, you doubling your wealth 2 years in advance.

Further the pricing is dammed solid even in financial crisis.

the last i remembered is when it trading at 23.xx and go south briefly to 19.xx and after that it shoot to 27.00 upon annoucement of the 1.73 dividend.

Come Nov-Dec will declare 15sen int div and paid in January 2014. Hope they increase this interim div to 18 sen. After all more div will attract investors

Good result but still 15c just like last year. NTA rm10+ but still stingy with div. When is bonus going to come? Have held this share for 6 years and still waiting. Directors need to take lessons from directors of D.lady to see how shareholders are rewarded. Stingy directors. Why conserve so much cash? for whom?

Mitsubishi UFJ is disposing so can't do anything. Overall market is weak now. Hope the coming dividend is not spoiler for the pricing further.
