My view...IB will not cover bcos lack of liquidity. Mgt also not keen to get more coverage. Money placed with related company might as well return to shareholder for further investment instead of earning FD rate. Good business and operation well managed but not efficient financial resources utilisation...merely providing cheap "loan " to related company in the form of deposit

based on 9 months profit of RM110mil, and we annualised 2015 accounts at 145mil and assuming 80% payout as dividend, then it works out to RM2.38 per share, let assume 5% variation then the final dividend could be in the range RM2.26 per share.

Compared with RM1.42 previous year, that work out to an improvement of 60% increment.

Will Panamy declared RM2.26 for dividend in June'16?

this year Panamy is making profits at it records high, so the final dividend is expected to be good. Cross our fingers........hopefully some shares split like 5 for 1 into 20 sen each.

today it's cheaper than it used to be, actually.
it's PE has been dropping throughout the years, since its eps keeps increasing.

Valuation and dividend wise, yes is cheap.
But market fluctuation wise, nobody knows.

Panamy is cheap for those who intent on selling, expensive for those who wish to purchase. It is actively traded, one can buy or sell one hundred shares if not a thousand at any time of day.
Only Malaysian born and bred companies dilute their company shares and make few sens a year and giving fewer sens as dividend.
Its obvious the Panamy BOD prefers to keep its number of shares low (60 Mil) and its price and dividend high, ie Quality above Quantity.
Having kept this counter for many many years, the dividend has never been disappointing.
As for its price, not really significant if one does not intend to sell. Rather its just an ego boosting fact and bragging rights that it was purchased much cheaper.
With the latest in aircon technology and bigger market share, Panamy should continue to show stella results.
Buy or sell, up to whether one is an investor or speculator.

my view is simple, in addition to steady eps and yield, just watch PE.
last 4Q PE is at 12.32x, with yield above 5%.
once again, i like to compare it with Nestle as I think they are similar creature.
Nestle, 30x with 3.5% yield.
I'll give panamy a 40% discount to Nestle, that goes 18x.
my fair value for panamy is 39.88, 18x PE.
