Expected BAT to move today after the big jump in Dow Jones but did not happen. KLCI lembab. Looks like it will hover in this price range until dividend announcement.

without fresh buying upside seems limited, retail investor taking profit today and foreign fund not yet come in to buy, only local institution (EPF, Kazanah and some local funds) supporting market today

I think the market is waiting for QR.

yesterday closing matching time got 1100 lot buy order pay as high as 13.96, but strong selling match it to 13.30 at the close.

i think report very likely to be good, the way i see it is 1 big buyer who have insider news willing to pay high to sapu while other retail sellers who unsure of QR sold at 13.30 once hit their profit target price

Here's hoping for a decent QR report today that will push up BAT out of the 13+ range and bring good dividend for all BAT loyal investors. I have no complaints for slow and steady BAT, it doesn't have to be a bullet train like glove stocks.
