From RM40 i already mentioned the price will drop...because i saw the business model like a double engines car became a single core concepts, like an aircraft lose an engine...

U can still cari makan from a downtrend counter if u enter at the right time & get out at the right time. But u must never hold onto a downtrend counter for long.

Saw your posts in BJ Corp and Sap Nrg. They not downtrend ctrs? Why you hold for long? Cakap tak serupa bikin if talk in Malay.

@BAT_: I only entered SAPNRG for around 2 months ago (that is not long) & I also entered BAT only recently (this is also not long). Y u seem to b so angry with other people's comment? What's your problem?

Posted by risktransformer > 2018-01-24 22:39 | Report Abuse

As for BJCORP, I also told people there I will only b there temporarily like 2 or 3 months (that is also not long). Please read all my comments carefully b4 making judgements.

You want to cheat? Why I read your BJ Corp posts in 2016?

@skyrocket: Paper loss is real loss... it means u can get in at a certain price but cannot get out at that price or higher, unless u r willing to get out at a realized loss.

Am I not right? Paper loss is real loss (nothing more & nothing less). Please read my recent comments in BJCORP to get the right context (things r different in 2016 & 2018) about holding BJCORP. I don't understand y u want to jumble up 2 different topics (paper loss & holding long/short term). Anyway, I am not interested in arguing with u. It's up to u if u cannot accept other people's comment. I don't gain anything from u & I don't see u lose anything from my comment about BAT's long term prospect. So I'll stop here (will not entertain further comments from u).

This is what I mean why your BJ Corp hold long term(2+ years) never mind why BAT shareholders cannot hold for dividend eg next mth or longer?

Posted by risktransformer > 2018-01-24 23:02 | Report Abuse

BTW, do u also know that I left BJCORP for a long time already & just enter BJCORP again around 1 week ago?

Posted by risktransformer > 2018-01-24 23:26 | Report Abuse

O.K. since u ask about BAT's dividend I will answer that but I hope u will not take it as an argument. Again, this is only my opinion... don't b angry if u disagree (u don't need to follow what I say). And please don't say that I want to cheat u (I don't get any money from u).

From my observation & experience (especially with BAT's dividend), the share price of BAT will drop a lot (like RM2 or RM3) either b4 or after ex-dividend. If someone bought BAT a few weeks ago thinking that he/she will get RM0.45 dividend soon, he/she would already lost around RM4 due to recent price drop. The price may go up a little as the dividend approaches but may drop again after ex-dividend. So, is the RM0.45 dividend worth RM2 or RM3 drop in price?

Posted by risktransformer > 2018-01-24 23:43 | Report Abuse

But don't sell your BAT's share now.... the price is just beginning to come up. Hold till UOB's TP of RM36.50 then sell (again, don't follow what I say if u disagree... if u lose money, don't blame me). The TP may probably happen b4 the dividend announcement.

Well, BAT biggest enemy is illicit cigarettes
The Government and Custom will ALWAYS find a way to control and regulate that
It's meaningless to impose high sin tax but actual revenue is low
Custom officer also got target to hit and KPI to achieve like corporate people...hahaha
Let's sit and watch, how much longer illicit cigarettes can maintain high % in the market

Pakatan offer no GST but BN say they need GST bec if not RM 40 billion tax money will be lost. If Pakatan win will they let illicit cigarettes get away without paying tax bec no GST where they want to find shortfall RM 40 billion?

Pakatan dump in case they dispute the gst and tax toward the cigarettes...tax pay off base on the cigarettes nicotine proportion of ingredient, without the tax, rakyat will reach hell earlier instead....hahahah

After drop so long to RM 31-32 now everyday up. Reversal trend confirmed?

Posted by risktransformer > 2018-01-26 17:29 | Report Abuse

Technically not yet confirm (reversal).... but it looks so obvious isn't it? If people want to wait till reversal is technically confirm b4 buying or topping up then by that time the price will be RM36.50 (UOB's TP). If the price is nearing RM35.50 then it would be too risky to buy.... bcoz anytime may drop severely (even b4 the reversal is confirmed). Always remember this is a long-term downtrend counter.

@BAT i think u miss understanding d, their main purpose is step by step bring SG to a smoke-free country instaed of helping cigarettes manufacturer to increase thier profit...of couse mayb it come out some contention whether some1 will get saman or not if u smoke e-cigar in front of public instead the smoking area...therefore, straight away suspend it seem the best way at this moment...

Logically BAT should perform better since they import from other countries and with stronger RM. Better still if the newly introduced Rothman
