As at 18 July 2018, the following holdings were known to be in foreign hands being part of the top 30 shareholders indicated in AR2018; 1) Penta 223,773,096 2) Macquarie 246,000,000 3) Goldman Sachs 129,404,924 4) Credit Suisse 48,050,000 Total 647,228,000
There may be more unpublicised foreign accounts holding BJLand shares in the list of shareholders.
Based on relevant KLSE records since 18 July 2018, the same foreign funds may still be holding the following amounts of BJLand shares; 1) Penta 166,185,989 announced 05.05.2019 2) Macquarie 144,415,368 sold 101,584,632 to Penta on 18.01.19 3) Goldman Sachs 129,404,924 4) Credit Suisse 48,050,000 Total 488,056,281 (9.801% of NOSH)
The actual figures may be vastly different to those shown above since all the four stakeholders are not substantial shareholders for quite a while already and are not required to announce their subsequent acquisitions or disposals.
It is hard to fathom why and how any regular fund would be invested in a stock like BJLand because of funds' usual strict charters. I can only surmise that these accounts holders are friendly parties to VT.

YOUR SURMISING COULD BE CORRECT!!
THESE FUNDS COULD BE PROXIES OF TSVT
LAST TIME IN YEAR 2006 TSVT ROPED IN GOLDMAN SACHS AND PUSHED BJ CORP FROM 12 SEN ALL THE WAY TO ABOVE RM1.50 (UP OVER 1,000%)
BUT AT THE VERY PEAK WHEN TSVT CAME OUT TO ANNOUNCE BJ CORP STILL UNDERVALUE HE STARTED UNLOADING
SO ALL MUST TRADE CAUTIOUSLY
LAST ROUND TSVT TOOK BJ CAPITAL, DUNHAM BUSH & COSWAY PRIVATE
AFTER THAT HE PUSHED BJ CORP
SO WHAT IS TSVT GAME PLAN NOW?
HOPE HE HAS REFORMED HIMSELF BY NOW AND GIVE DECENT DEAL TO ALL SHARE HOLDERS
Dear all, please read the notes to financial statement carefully... Good news from Jeju soon I think!!
"The second supplementary land price appraisal report has been completed and a preparatory hearing was held on 20 June 2019. The presiding judge closed the preparatory proceedings for pleading and stated that the formal hearing will commence on 25 July 2019.
On 25 July 2019, the presiding judge requested BJR to submit evidentiary evidence with respect to the total claims by BJR. The next hearing date has been fixed on 19 September 2019."
Oct is also the date for the skyocean case to b heard.sept to oct many important case. Mostly jeju case will be satisfactory. Coz bjland already written to president of south korea in preparation to bring to international trade icsid for settlement if no satisfactory result obtained. The only problem to jeju case is the damage amount, jdc already lose the suit.the ongoing lawsuit is pertaining to the damages bjland wana claim. If bring to international court, south korea will definetely lose n they cannot control the damages to be paid.so mostly they would like to settle a damages both parties agreeable in sept.
If bring to icsid ..bjland sure win coz bjland already won in korea court. The uncertainty is amount.so korean government sure will not want to bring it to icsid coz they might end up paying 14 billion. If bjland can settle for say may b 5 to 7 billion. I think korea government might settle it amicably. Bjland share price slide from rm 1 to 20 sen since jeju case...this loss already amount to 5 billion. Direct damages 1 billion. N reputation damade, loss of profit. Legal cost.interest cost etc so much more.5billion reasonable.
Thanks for all the info, most likely price will drop first then up slowly as short term players can't wait for months, luckily DJ was going up yesterday else will worsen the market sentiment and press down the price further. Fair value adjustment is very subjective, exp, normally they will compare the purchase value against market value or realisable value to decide the impairment figure. Just hold, 0.22...is really low price as compared to its assets, close your eyes and don't let the fluctuation affect your initial decision of buying this counter for mid and long term investors
Bjland price start to reverse after the 25 july trial. May b its an indication of the jeju court case is turning in favor of bjland.thats y vt starts buy back actively becoz he sees its time to take it private now the compensation is near.
DON'T TRADE! If we minorities don't trade, there's nothing to be gain by BURSA, SC, or VT. VT will then be forced to privatize BJLand and treat his minorities better under his wing of listed companies!
Don't fall into Mgts's trap that's precisely what they want u to sit idly by while they do the lefthand to righthand dealings, we suspect BJLand is working out the 5 days VWAP for privatisation purpose, these few days are crucial to determine what will be VT's initial offer.. to minority in case of Privatisation!
Jeju conservative 5 billion ,kyoto 4 season 4 billion oceansky 500 million...already 10 billion ...if all come in ...deduct borrowing still got 7 billion ...rm1.40 per share...plus bjtoto share value 0.30 ...already rm1.70...vt wanna privatise at 50 sen is a piece of cake...
If i am vt i will quickly privatise n escalate jeju case to icsid n hope to strike compensation of 14 billion...rm2.8 pershare...hoho n i only pay 50 sen to privatise...sweet sweet.
So like i say bjland dun need retailer...we only need 1 decision from vt..coz no matter how much retailer is buying u cannot raise the price much...but vt is about to pocket rm1.40 cash in 1 to 2 yrs time.
I am only talking about 3 immediate cases only...there r still many other law cases n valuable asset. Vt is smiling when we talk about 38 sen 50 sen 80 sen. To vt bjland is worth rm5.
Of course VT will get mah.....but he only hold slightly more than 1% in his name....that means VT get 1% of his direct interest proceeds but the balance 84% proceeds will be paid to VT owned companies loh..!!
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
