1. BURSA and SC could have required BJCorp making the offer to the rest of shareholders given spread in the first place. Allowing BJCorp to delay the process benefits those manipulating the share price, if any, but not the minorities.

2. There is no telling Penta is collecting BJLand shares in the open market. If yes, it would be a shame. If no, those buying for quick bucks awaiting BJCorp to make a mandatory offer will only suffer.

The latest event shows two things. 1. BURSA and SC have not acted fairly. 2. VT is still the old VT.

Lol... actually since Uncle Tan technically already controls 88% of BJLand shares he can make his move anytime...so just be patience to reap the benefits just like Penta... practically there already not much shares in the market apart from Penta's 3% block unless BJCorp wants BJLand to go the shariah compliant route and release 10% of its holdings to ease the liquidity issue and also to boost it's own shares...end of April will be expiry of it's warrant and implementation of T+2 to less on short selling and BJGroup's shares will pickup?

Lol...coming from the majority is reverse psychology...anyway with the extraordinary gain from Vietnam property sales to be recognised in the coming quarter BJLand should show better profits than BJCorp...only thing is Penta's making BJCorp shares higher than BJLand to bait buyers?

kahhoeng, bursa announcements show that VT bjcorp stakeholders between Feb to April 15 decrease 2%, is it accountable ? At the same time, bjasset declares 0.85% increase bjcorp stakeholders.

eddysurge, not sure what you are referring to. Earlier, before the purchase from Penta, BJCorp has disposed some BJLand shares. My guess, it is due to VT's total holding of BJLand exceeded 80% threshold. When BJCorp purchased from Penta, I thought an offer will be made right after then. Unfortunately, it is not, which is part of the reason why I'm so pissed off. It is not a matter of an offer price is able to satisfy the rest of minorities, its a matter of fairness.

1290---- said BJLand Nine-month net profit is 137 million. It is actually incorrect. BJLand doesn't own 100% of BJToto, thus, after taking out others' interest in BJToto, BJLand net profit for 9 months is only a miserable 1 million. The result is suggesting a poor other BJLand divisions mainly consisted of hotels, property development and investment.

kahhoeng, I referred to klse screener under bjcorp all announcements dated 25 Feb 2019 & compared with 05Apr 2019. I understand you're concerned about fairness if there is going to be privatisation. Coming back to price, since almost 88% or like what gangnam told 10% release by Bjcorp, we can only watch drama.

I traced back to Jan 19. Percentage-wise, VT's ownership was 48% despite number of shares is 100 million less. With VT accumulating more lately, his ownership in percentage is roughly the same. Penta's conversion added some 200 million shares in the market.

There's a possibility one fund want to sell. Penta, together with bjcorp, is facilitating that service. Why else not converting all, only enough not to appear as shareholders holding more than 5%? Converting all require bjcorp to make offer to the rest of bjland shareholders. Frankly speaking yesterday Bjland trade is obviously their in house game.
One side put on sell call of 24.5 for few hundred lots, the buyer side will take the sales call immediately; afterward another few hundred lots plot out again for sales.
Again, the selling and buying strength is almost equal and volume done in one day is 11 million.
However, this observation could not led us to the full story of when they will take action on Bjland and Bjcorp.

Actually, the condition is vaguely written if I were not wrong. An 'or' condition is the trading volume. If the trading volume is satisfactory when the spread is low, bursa may accept the listing status...
